Changed the momentum of the game with his constant pushing up the ball and his douchebaggery.

Reminded me of Busquets tbh.

Can't believe Unai was desperate too offload this kid in the summer. Wanted to get rid of any player signed by Lord Sven to prove a point.

That was a captains performance today and looked so much better when Xhaka came off, Xhaka doubles this kids work load.

Just saw the replay for the first Villa goal and it was entirely his fault. He just let the man he was marking run past him. Other than that he was really good today and he's showing there are more things to his game offensively too.

The first goal was his fault but he helped create the two our goals and was very close to scoring a blinder. He may need to play higher up the pitch in a more attacking role. That pass to Chambers was sublime for that goal. Similar in quality for his assist for Aubameyang.

Love his desire to attack, no fear at all. It makes such a change from watching midfielders passing the ball like its a hot potato.

None of that passive possession stuff. He tries to make something happen when we're in need of a goal.

Yeah he was at fault for the first goal.
Something I don't get that is common in all levels of football, is for atleast one senior defender or the goalkeeper to tell a player in Guendouzi's position to not let his man stay behind him.
A man behind is always faster to the ball and has more room or choices of where to move into.... but it seems basic knowledge like this is not common in the club, so no senior defender or goalkeeper talks to players in such situations.

Game of two halves for him, having said his mistakes are glaring but when he is on he is sublime , bit more time and experience he will fit comfortably in that good to sublime performance consistently
