Expect him to be much better this year having settled in the league and the team.

Graph also shows why we can’t drop Xhaka unless we sign a replacement who’s actually good

Regardless of the graph, my eyes tell me we can drop Xhaka - preferably off the nearest cliff.
Guendouzi - he's decent and will get better.

Xhaka is not mobile enough to play to Emery’s plan. Unless he can play as the last midfielder he’s a liability. Unfortunately his poor positioning makes that unviable. I would sell if we get in excess of 40 mil and invest in a more mobile player. His long passing is an asset though.

Lovely player, reminds me of the German, Gunter Netzer.

Allegedly we've opened negotiations with Mattéo Guendouzi's representatives to discuss a contract extension.

His current deal runs until 2022.

I'm a big fan of Guendouzi but feel like he needs to push on this season after a decent first year at the club. He's still so young and came from Ligue 2, so it's expected that he has flaws in his game, but it'd be great to see him really evolve and nail down a starting place at the club.

He has tons of talent and potential. Needs to find that mental part of the game that keeps him consistent, and ffs boy stay on your f***ing feet and quit diving every time someone breathes on you.

He dwells a little too much, he just comes across as way to relaxed at times. But I feel that could be something that stays with him, part of his style. Some players just make everything seem effortless, and he's one of them. He'll never be a machine, and doesn't have to work to cover ground like little Torrieira. He just glides and covers ground so easily.

A little more upper body strength to stop getting robbed so easily, and a little more hustle, and wow!

Can't wait to see him develop.

I agree, it infuriating to see him keep going down as if he has been shot, lots and lots of potential use it better this season.

My biggest gripe with him is he goes down too easily when expecting a foul. He needs to cut that out immediately.

If its strength, he still has a way to grow and he will get more solid but more often than not, I feel like hes going down due because of contact as oppose to being out muscled.

If he can sort that and his impulsive way of chasing a man and losing his positional awareness, he can become a massive player.

Hoping it's an adjustment issue, I think there's a lot of anticipation surrounding the physical side of the Premiership, it definitely plays on the minds of some players.

Its defo a 19 year olds issue. Hes taken a massive step up from ligue 2 to the prem and for his experience/age, I think hes done amazing.

He'll get bigger and stronger and hopefully learn discipline and patience over time (although from who in midfield i dont know).

I think he can be a massive player in the future and another few seasons, clubs will be knocking if they haven't started already.
