Torreira and Guendouzi both gone. Elneny in. f***ing hell.

Yeah, from a midfielders standpoint that leaves us with Xhaka, Ceballos, Elneny and Willock. Surely one more has to come in.

Please stop counting Willock lol, he's trash and more of a CAM. He can probably manage the attacking CM role in a 3 but Willock in a 2? With one of Xhaka, Ceballos or Elneny? Na thanks.

The latter would be the only half bearable pairing. Not an option.

As with Ozil, we might have to beg Guendouzi to stay and play.

I'm not saying he's a good option as part of that midfield two, but he's an option. More likely to play if we switch to a 4-3-3 or some variation of it as well.

^ Honestly I'd rather play Saka as LCM than play Willock if we're playing 4-3-3.

For me with what little he offers, I don't see a place for Willock in the team bar the poorest of opposition.

Rather try that Ben Cottrill kid who looked a lot more comfortable on the ball at least.

Agreed, I'd like to see Saka continue to play in that area of the pitch. One of the few players we have who can run with the ball and make killer passes.

According to Sky Germany, Guendouzi is currently undergoing his medical at Hertha BSC and an official announcement by both clubs is expected to be made later today.

Another loan out lol, that’s all we seem to be able to get, not helping the transfer funds much!

With our midfield in dire need of reinforcement, letting Guendouzi go is either piss poor management OR we've got someone coming in today - I hope and suspect the latter.

A loan with no option to buy, are we planning on bringing him back?

Someone mentioned he has 1 year left next summer, it will really limit how much we get for him if we do try and sell.

I’d have negotiated an option to buy personally, he doesn’t seem to be in our plans.

Finding out transfer business very odd.
