Wasn't at Wembley.

Surely he's a goner.

Get rid, the boy thinks he is better than he actually is. Was a fan of his but was more of his battling nature and potential. Not seen anything special enough from him to warrant special treatment though

Both Ozil and 'Douzi will get their medals. Both played in our FA Cup run.

It's surprising he wasn't there. Ozil congratulated the lads for the win, while 'Douzi was gloating about his vacation.

I doubt the club would interdict him from joining in the celebrations?

It's a really strange situation with Guendouzi.

I think the fact that Arteta has tried to straighten him out and get him onboard with the plan is the clearest indicator of him also acknowledging that the kid has a talent worth developing.

In being so churlish and failing to at least congratulate his team mates on winning the FA cup, especially after the likes of Cesc, RvP and Cole (spit) have done so, the louder the phrase 'former arsenal player Matteo Guendouzi' seems to echo.

With that being said, a couple of weeks before we jettisoned Emery, you could not have gotten odds on the duo of Xhaka and Mustafi making such comebacks as to rival Jesus Christ and Lazarus coming back from the dead.

If we can reluctantly afford to give Ozil £36M for his last two years service with another £18M to follow so he can continue just playing video games instead of football, surely we can afford to similarly write off the kid's £30M or so resale value and keep him around the U23'S & youth players for the remainder of his contact as an example to them of how money and acclaim can go to your head and make you a dick. It would be one of the life lessons they would never forget and therefore worth it in the long run.

Thought the talent was worth nurturing but tbh he is coming across more and more like a c***.

Cya Matteo, so much for 'loving Arsenal'. He'd have congratulated them no matter what if he did, they're supposed to be his friends after all.

He will be a problem wherever he goes

Players like him don’t learn and end up having a below par career relative to their level of talent

Emery used to love this guy so hopefully he comes in for him, any decent Villarreal players we could exchange for?

Not really sure what he did - seems Arteta didn;t like him having a pop at an opponent for injuring our goalkeeper and ending his season.
It must be more than that though because we actually need that kind of response from our players.

He’s had numerous disciplinary proceedings throughout the season

Such as in Dubai at a restaurant for a team meal he jumped on the table took his shirt off and started swinging it around

Was Arteta in charge then?

Yes. He was also messing around in a training session whilst we were in Dubai.

This is from the Athletic

The Frenchman attracted headlines after his post-match spat with Brighton striker Neal Maupay. Although he escaped punishment from the FA, it has been a different matter internally. Guendouzi was called to a meeting with Arteta and technical director Edu in the aftermath of the Brighton game but didn’t impress. Arteta’s decision to exclude Guendouzi is understood to be based on more than just this incident, which is seen as the latest in a series of indiscretions.

That's understandable why he has been dropped, people said arteta did it just to show he is a big man I never believed that

The kid was excluded from Lorient’s squad for three months because he was such a massive arsehole

We knew he had these discipline issues but took the gamble

And it’ll be paid off really, we’ll probably get 5x profit on what we paid for him
