But as Ozim says with a player that age with obvious talent you don't just discard them.

Even if they are undermining your authority and disrupting the squad?

How long would you allow that to go on for?

Should the various managers who had Mario Ballotelli have stuck with him?

Good question. He should certainly have a length of rope to hang himself, if he hangs himself then he only has himself to blame. We don't know how long that length of rope is, but judging by his treatments of others it looks to me like it was very short. What did he do ? I don't think he did anything that has been made public that warranted being shifted out of the club, I was fine with him being demoted to train with the U23s.

If there wasn't a line of folks that Arteta hasn't given short-shrift to I might be more willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

What have we been crying out for at this club for years? Someone to come in and sort out the shower of shit that has been our playing squad.

Personally I don't care how that is done. I want success on the pitch. I couldn't care less if players get upset or get mercilessly shifted out in order to get this achieved.

That’s the thing, we’re 11th in the league after 25 games with only the EL to play for, it’s even worse than last season, there is no success.

Right now I don’t see how cutting out Saliba and rest has helped, as we’re worse in the league than we’ve been for decades.

I fail to see how anyone can be happy with Arteta is doing, we’re the very definition of average under him, there’s enough here to do a lot better than he’s doing. You only need to look at West Ham or Brendan Rogers at Leicester who seems to be doing very nicely indeed (and was pretty good last season too overall).l, what we are there is progress.

I'm not completely happy with the current situation - but the squad clearout and changes had to happen - as did the introduction of a more ruthless approach.

None of us know why Saliba was sent on loan. The rest of the players who have gone on loan or been shipped out in some other way are no big loss.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told France Under-21 midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, 21, he has played his last game for the Gunners and will be sold at the next opportunity. (Football Insider, via Mirror)

I don't think he's exactly turning up trees in Berlin.

Guendozi could be a terrific player with the right manager and a bit of maturity. He has it all engine, fight, strength, passing. Would be a real shame to lose him.

Tbh I’m over Guendouzi, quite liked him with his shithousery and team mentality on the pitch, but his attitude seems shit and he comes across like a cocky little bugger

To think that Hertha wanted to give us cold hard cash for Xhaka just before the pandemic, but we kept him and sent them Guendouzi 6 months later.

Guendo's just another player we will need to loan out again or lose for free.

Arsenal are planning to offload Matteo Guendouzi for £25 million ($35m) this summer - according to Football Insider.

The Frenchman is currently on loan at Hertha Berlin, and the Gunners no longer feel he has a future at Emirates Stadium.

Guendouzi's current deal at Arsenal expires in 2022, but Arsenal are going to try and offload him this summer.

No way we'd get that kind of money
