A finish worthy of Podolski. He will greatly enhance our attack once he's played further up field.

He's been doing that the last 4 games, under instruction from Arteta I recon obviously a specialist as a Deep CM being one himself in his final years, it gives Xhaka time on the ball to pick out long passes like a Quarter back rather than him pushing forward into midfield and getting rushed by the opposition press.

Its things like that, that makes me know Emery had to go, he was fkin clueless with our players.

As for Saka I think what's really helping him be effective is that the poor opposition basically have with him and Martinelli, two wingers, overloading their fullback and defence with winger type offence x2, its not just a winger and a fullback its two proper wingers storming at you.

Agreed with the two wingers attacking, when bournmouth made the change to a 5 man midfeild, what was good was although we lost some of the control of the midfeild, we still kept a shape defensively the kids did well

what I like seeing from saka is his obvious improvement in the physical side of the game. earlier this season he was man handled off the ball, but now he's definitely worked on dealing with the fight of opponents. his confidence is up and he's working. great to see.

Manchester United are monitoring 18-year-old winger Bukayo Saka's contract situation at Arsenal. (Mail)

Surely not?

Liverpool, Bayern Munich want him as well.

stock has risen. We better get his new contract sorted

hopefully he re signs soon as we have to sell him in the summer & I think he is the second most exciting youngster we have

I know we have no choice but to play him at LB, but that's not where he belongs. He's shown great creativity in attack and should be played as a wide midfielder or winger.

I would understand if AMN got fed up with playing RB and left, but putting Saka in that same position would backfire badly on us.
