Very very different.

It’s higher, faster and more intent. It’s also a Liverpool player.

I know that GM has signed a new contract, but not sure he will be with us for long.
Arteta obviously doesn't rate him as he dropped him completely, not even giving him substitute time - prior to his injury.

Alexis Sánchez a legend? :rofll:

Platt was a huge part of our transition into European club. Critical to we finishing 6th in the 1996/97 season and getting Europe. Pretty sure he scored winner against Bolton on last day. Huge presence at the club especially in that cross-over period.

Tomas Rosicky does not merit legendary status, . Very good player, at Dortmund but bang average here.

Alexis wore #17 for his best years at Arsenal. He's in no way an iconic #7 for us.

We finished third 96/97 didn't we? Equal on points with Newcastle but they had the better GD and thus went in to CL and we went on to start wengers shit legacy in Europe with us

I think the gentleman means 95/96 wben we finished 5th to make sure we finished above everton to qualify for the uefa cup.
Bergkamp scored the winner but platt assisted and also scored our first in a 2-1 win.

Platt was quality for us in a time where we had hillier and selley as our midfield.

That goal v mancs, the assist for one of the greatest Arsenal goals ever.

Alexis was better no doubt. Don't have a bad thing to say about Platt though. Wasn't he England captain when we got him?
