I watched him today drag the Villa defence all over the place, keep the ball with good strength and bring others in.
He missed a good chance - that would be my only criticism of him, otherwise a very good performance.

The only thing that's weird is your rose tinted glasses.

Yes he did drag them around, as i said, ball to feet he is very good.......but,how many assists? How many goals?

His final ball is poor, he doesn't not just find them, he messes up, big difference that I can see.

Laca didn't score or assist but he doesn't fk up his final balls, that's why his performance is good, Saka makes the wrong final ball including his 1 on 1 with the goalie, unforgiveable.

Laca would of buried that.

Hopefully Saka improves soon, however I think Martinelli needs a chance

I agree with everything here especially the part where Lacazette would have buried that chance Saka had; and emphatically too, he’s that assured in front of goal. Saka’s end product lately and for the most part has been a mess. I can’t tell you how many times I was pulling my hair out when Saka messed up a pass or chance at goal against Villa. Someone needs to tell Saka what Carragher recently said about ESR and that’s that end product is king. If Saka can improve his final ball we’ll all be laughing.

One last point Lacazette did get an assist. #difference

His physical strength is very good. He might not be the type to body his way through like a force, but he does so well using his body and protecting the ball. He also takes so many hits and tackles but does so well. About The chance last night all Saka needed to do was take touch instead of shooting first time, if he does that Martinez is for a walk and Saka has an open net. . But him and ESR both need too atleast chip in 10 league goals a season if we want the club to get anywhere up in the league table.

Great player but he really does have to start having a much better endproduct.
Rest in Peace SE13 :(

surely every professional attacking footballer DOES NOT need to be reminded of this. OR...are they that f***ing stupid?

Maddison and recently ESR spoke about working on adding more goals to their games after comments about their lack of end product. Clearly, it’s something that needs to be reiterated or communicated to some players.

Anyone else feel like he just looks so much better on the left? He’s more of a traditional winger than an inverted winger.

I feel like he should be rested more. Been playing nonstop for 2 years running now. We don't want him picking up random knocks that turn into recurring injuries just as he enters his prime years.

He’s a footballer.
He’s supposed to be playing.

Problem is Pepe has not been delivering. He was supposed to set the field on fire.

With Jadon Sancho fetching 75m, Bukayo is way above the £100m level now.

Surprised Saka was not 1st TBH.

Seems to have improved after a very slow start this season which is good to see.
