Instead of developing players, he seems to be destroying them, as in Saka's case.

I dunno, Saka was terrifying last season as was Martinelli. Its no coincidence that both have looked ineffective this season, every single attacker has. Its the bloody system

That doesn't excuse his awful play yesterday, that has nothing to do with the system.

Saka's been one of the best players in English football since 2021, bar none.

He looks burnt out however, and that's caused a big decline in form. Yesterday may have been the unhappiest he's looked.

Very true but he is grinding them to dust, he is overplaying them, and even when they are poor he keeps playing them.

All wingers need overlapping players to look effective.Last season we we're doing those and this season we don't for defensive stability.
Having said that hes pis poor this season even without overlapping he had so many bad games. He needs to be rested players cannot play 38 games and in every cup game.He needs to play 30 games in the PL and get subbed off abit to not get burned out like he is now.Every attacking player looks burned out.Odegaard was burned out for like 1/3 of the season hes starting to get in form now after getting abit subbed etc.

Decent finish, it’s pretty much where he scores all his goals from.

Much better from him in this game. Less hesitant. A very well taken goal.

I was looking at that goal from Saka, thinking that the defender took too much time and allowed Saka a clear sight of goal, but then realised that he was expecting Saka to do his usual move onto the left, which left the space to shoot. Which just goes to show how valuable it is, to be able to shoot with both feet.

I didn’t think he was that great in the game, same issues as before, the goal was basically because he got into space on the counter when Forest pushed forward and gave the ball away.

Nice finish though, but he’s half decent from there, as I said before most of his goals come from around there.

You know with Saka you have to stop him shooting from there as that’s his trademark, just like the byline move or cut inside and shot is Martinelli’s.

23 G+A this season now.
Didn’t actually play well today but even in a bad game he’s a match winner. Can’t lose track of him for a second and continues to make space for others by drawing 2 and sometimes 3 defenders.

Don't think he had a particularly good game today
