He wants CL football. Can't blame him. This tragic season has done no one any good

You have no idea what Saka wants in his contract.
Media stories for clicks are designed to catch fools.
Saka is one of the best players in the world and the media will be creating stories about him all through the window even if he signed a new contract.
The ‘release clause’ nonsense is their latest drama.

The media have always tried to unsettle our star players.

Bless him, he's so down about it, as he should be. It wasn't entirely his fault the whole team sucked.

Wow he’s changed into his pajama and is ready for bed even before they’ve left the stadium.

Bit of a concern if true about a release clause. I guess it all depends on the fee they want added.

If we put a minimum release clause, something that’s unheard of in the PL, we’ve got little chance of keeping hold of him.

He’ll know that if the big clubs come knocking we’ll be powerless and he can walk away.

Missing out on the CL is going to be very costly.

The club brought it on itself with the lack of ambition though.

Could be, it won’t be that high because clearly he’ll want to have the opportunity to move on, it’ll be affordable for a big club which means if he keeps improving I can’t see him sticking around too long.

We already Klopp likes him.

Despite his inconsistency hes had a fantastic season which shows his talent, even when hes poor he usually sets up a goal or even scores. I still think long term he will be a club captain Mr versatile. A player we need to build this club around for me.

Andy Robertson: People notice assists, but keeping Bukayo Saka quiet was more satisfying
