Koscielny was the biggest problem today. Our wingers aren't good enough either.

Every outfield player was shit today

But overall picture, Torreira is not the problem.

His partner is one of many.

Not saying torreira or his partner granit the t**t were the biggest problems but their lack of control in the game was massive. You focus on the defensive, but our two midfielders in the centre, both assumed to be defensive, allowed them to pressure our defense so much. Also our centre midfielders are supposed to create something for the two twats up front. Didnt happen either

Shocking performance from everyone

Are we really going to slate him? Oh, it's the Gooner mantra to slate quality players ramshackled by the manager and his team-mates.

Torreira is having the usual dip that most new players from another league have during their first season, especially a midfielder. The fact that he's had to hold the entire midfield on his own because he has the worst starting CM of the Wenger and post-Wenger era to play alongside makes things much more complicated. Yes, Xhaka's worse than Denilson.

He's (Torreira) the least of our worries.

Sell to a Spanish club for £40m and we can reinvest.

Why not just play a midfield three with him protecting the defence? There aren't many players that can play as pair in the midfield and still dominate possession. What was the gameplan today? Were we set up to defend and counter or were we trying to boss possession and win the ball back quickly?

In recent games he has been sub standard, but the whole team has been. Torreira was continually one of our best players until the bad patch. I just think the players he has around him/the system is not working. He is a top quality DM

Xhaka absolutely is worse than Denilson.

The latter would at least keep moving and demanding the ball.

I still think the Xhaka-Torreira pairing has some promise. Both have under performed lately but with the right set-up around them, it's nowhere near as big a problem area as CB, LB , RB and out wide. It depends a lot on how we go about replacing Ramsey.

It has promise for what? We cannot honestly expect to go anywhere with Xhaka next to anyone, the guy is not good enough.

I think it be given another season as you said bigger problems elsewhere to spend the transfer budget on. But I think we can get better then Xhaka, just not a fan of the man. Far too given with mistakes or losing the ball. I just don't think the PL is suited for him imo. I would happily cash in on Xhaka, if you gave 25 to 30 million or over. Torreira has had a very good first season, he's definitely waned in the 2nd half of the season but he's going to top class.

Looks like Torreira is fishing for a move back to Italy - Milan?

"I don’t know if there’s a lot of things that I’m enjoying because I think I liked living in Italy more.

London is a completely different world. England is a very big country.

I had trouble with the language, communicating with my teammates and with the people.

It’s pretty rough in certain moments when you can’t have the dialogue, that’s the most important part.

The weather is also difficult. You go out in the morning and it’s cloudy and you get back after training and it’s still cloudy.

I miss the sun. Mostly us South Americans are used to having sunny days"
