One of the top YouTube videos of all time. When it gets bitten by a f***ing rattle snake, passes out for hours, then shakes it off and cracks on with his day had me in stitches.

Honey badger don't give a shit

I'm not going to lie; seeing Torreira score that goal and the way he celebrated made me a little emotional. You could see how much the goal mean for him. His passion for the game seemed to match that of the fans.

Torreira is a player we've needed for a very long time. Not only does he have the skill set to do the less beautiful yet incredibly necessary work in the midfield but he's also a very ambitious lad who will give his all every time he steps on the pitch. What a warrior.

We've made one of the best signings of the season, lads.

100% I can't think of another signing for any one else this season that's had as big an impact on their team.

We've been calling out for a player like him for years and now we've actually got him.

He's already doubled in value I reckon...

I won’t lie either. I had a little tear in my eye at the way he celebrated that goal. Pure passion. He brings the stadium alive at times with his attitude.

Guy is so much better than Fred, Kovacic, Jorginho and Keita. Best signing of the summer.

WE have finally got a player with a big heart and balls to match, he is a credit to the team.

Same!

My heart and emotions were so up and down. Seriously, I turned 40 this year, and I almost had my first heart attack yesterday because of this. Had to sit down and catch my breath. I don't get that passion from any other sport I watch.

He may be 6 years younger and 6 inches shorter than me, but I would call Torreira daddy any day

el torrito is so for f***ing real..

and he's got more goals in him... its been coming...

the other players just need a adjust when he makes one of his few forward forays into the box area... ( eg- not iwobi taking a pass intended for him and immediatley turnin it over and leading to a fast break and a goal the other way just before half)

Gary Neville in Skysports podcast:

Lucas Torreira in midfield sets the tone. He doesn’t leave them anywhere else to go.

When you see him busying around like a terrier, the rest have to respond to it and thrive off it.

It just felt like they had some nastiness about them today. Even when Eric Dier scored they went over and had a scrap with them over that.

I like that. Arsenal teams haven’t had a fight in them for years!
