Was like a fox terrier at bulls hoofs, what a great game, and the xhaka partnership seems to be developing

He's a decent DM and now he's being played in the right position we're seeing that (who would have thought it?). Once we find a decent replacement for Xhaka it should workout pretty well.

Failing that, plays Luiz next to him.

I was entangled in this debate too. :P

Torreira has it all. He just needs to be played in his position, he needs rest, and he needs a supportive CM by his side. He's Kante-lite.

If we can get Rosicky now:

Rosicky - Torreira
--------- Ozil

Just get whoever is the next Rosicky or Cazorla. :hiding:

A big disadvantage to him would be his small stature in the midfield.

I preferably want someone more taller in the defensive role, someone like Thomas Partey would be perfect.

Partey stands at 6’1, it would definitely be more beneficial than to have a 5’6 Lucas Torreira

Partey will physically out match players more than Lucas Torreira would because of his bigger and stronger stature.

This is just what we need in a league like the PL.

I’ve noticed that we don’t win enough Aerial battles in the midfield.

i agree. we need a big, tall DM like kante.

Are you taking the piss? Kante is a short ass.

I hope ceballos proves me wrong but i think him and torreira at cm would be way too lightweight in the PL. Maybe they'd work in italy or spain, but not in the PL.

Isn't he available for free in the summer?

Juventus on alert as we speak. Inter apparently want him.

We should bid £25m+1 right now. :hiding:
