If he left it wouldn’t bother me to be honest. Good game against Everton , but honestly think he’s too small for the league.

A big disadvantage to him would be his small stature in the midfield.

I preferably want someone more taller in the defensive role, someone like Thomas Partey would be perfect.

Partey stands at 6’1, it would definitely be more beneficial than to have a 5’6 Lucas Torreira

Partey will physically out match players more than Lucas Torreira would because of his bigger and stronger stature.

This is just what we need in a league like the PL.

Emery / Arteta for Torreira it's the same ... he put in a real shift today but from the minute Chelsea switched formation him and Guendouzi were playing 3 v 2 with the usual lack of support from those in front of him ... he clearly is a decent player doing his best in an abysmal midfield, add to that having different teammates and managers to contend with ... and honestly if I was him I'd have had enough.

If we don't sign a quality CDM to play alongside him then he needs to escape ... 24 in February he can't afford to waste his career in a mid-table side ... we need to meet his expectations, he's already doing his bit.
