compared to Xhaka , he looked great in the first 10-15mins of the half but he was just Okay today
firmly expect him to be bossing things by next month though

Lets not set him up to fail by over-hyping him

Guess he is still adjusting to the speed of the league. Give him time.

Honestly I think he did ok. He got stuck in straight away and played some great balls forward initially.

Seemed calm under pressure and put in that foul on barkley(?) Who was through on goal otherwise, so a worthy challenge.

It was a shame for him as I think he came on at a time when we looked dead on our feet as an 11 so couldn't really do anything to stem the tide of hazard and other runs down the wing.

Hopefully, well look better as a whole once fitness levels start to match with pressing tactics and we become less sloppy on the ball playing out, which cuts the amount of extra ground to cover.

He looks good, its true about what the Sampdoria fans say about how he slows up attacks tho, he seems a bit late with his passes (the few he had).

He made 1 tackle, gave the ball away which gave them a big chance and lost track of Alonso for his goal

If he was called Xhaka he’d have been hung drawn and quartered

I have no doubts he’ll be great but he was horrific when he came on. As bad as Xhaka was

On this evidence I’d stick with Xhaka+Gendo.

One good performance and one mediocre, but Rome wasn't built in a day.

So glad we've got a nutter of an assistant coach.

Btw, what's Bould been doing? Is he still the same passive pushover he was under Wenger?
