Finally our DM would be wearing it, instead of a defender.

It doesn't feel right seeing a DM wear #11. It's usually associated with an attacker.

I'd give him #6 although like Callum, I've been accustomed to CBs wearing #5 and #6, with #4 going to a CM (thanks to Vieira and Cesc). #6 is legendary for us as it was Adams' number, so I'd like to see the trend continue.

Ideally:

#4 Torreira
#6 Saliba (next season)
#11 Pepe

Have no idea why we handed our iconic #4 to Elneny. Same for #7 to Mkhi. The last three players who donned it were Alexis, Rosicky, and Pires. Kinda feels tainted seeing Mkhi wear it. Nothing personal against Mkhi and I hope he has a spectacular season for us.

Another cool number at Arsenal is #19: Leno, Cazorla, Wilshere, and Gilberto. Low-key epic—with two underrated worldies wearing it: Gilberto and Santi. So, in a way, Pepe with #19 isn't all that bad.

The 14 suits Aubameyang just fine.

Yeah, but at the time I found it annoying.

You guys realise that if we don't START Torreira + ANYBODY [other than XHAKA] against Liverpool,

Were doomed! :hiding:

We need our BEST BALL WINNER!!! Actual Natural Born DM, next to someone who can also actually win back the ball,

& not SPECTATE with the Captains Badge on  , Take 5hrs to make up his mind where to pass the ball?

Rather than Win back the ball + Drive Foward + Drive Past Defenders + Create Space + Shoot & SCORE!!!

All of these things Torreira & Kante CAN DO well, but ALL are out of Xhaka's range on possibility.

[The only thing he ever dribbled on was FOOD...NEVER ON THE PITCH...cannot move the ball forward]

Anyway so here to hoping against Liverpool our 'DM' :Peace: Partnership is

Torreira + Guendouzi / Willock / Ceballos [if Ozil shows up to work :cold2: ] / the water boy

& if all of these OTHER guys are Unavailable due to a sudden...SUDDEN inconspicuously & ironically timed ..... illness :cold2:

THEN.....Xhaka can start...& I'll pray from SECOND 1 ............... Till 5mins After Extra time, that we don't need to press charges for battery! :hiding:

[Duracell or Energizer....more likely Energizer...]

We are not sure about his fitness level. I think we should play him if he's ready.

I see no reason to disrupt the Guendouzi and Ceballos partnership from yesterday. It might be worth bringing in Torreira for Willock though to give us some more experience and grit in the midfield.

One of either Willock or Nelson to make way for Torreira, I would support.
