Loan him, pay 50% of his salary with no obligation to buy.

Arsenal: We're inquiring about taking Thomas Partey on loan and would like you to cover half his wages.

Atleti: No.

Arsenal: Understandable, have a nice day.

There are other options, not like Partey is the only decent DM out there.

Tell Athletico to go suck their mooma.

He already agreed personal terms with Atletico according to Fabrizio Romano.

I hope we get 30m or a swap deal for Partey out of it, but I can't see it right now.
Probably a few millions as loan fee and them covering his wages and that's it.

Aye, Atletico would pay 15m or so and 10m of it would go into the pockets of Raul and his buddies.

Sounds better than the deal being discussed now tbh

Arsenal are now locked in negotiations with Atletico over the terms of the deal, with Mikel Arteta’s side looking to receive a guaranteed transfer fee for a player who is considered to be worth around £20 million, at least. Atletico are understood to be pushing for a loan deal, however.

It’s funny how football works eh, about a year ago after his debut season rumours of Milan wanting him for 40M and had we sold him everyone would have been fuming. Now fast forward a year later and we struggling to get half that and no one would care if he leaves.

got emery'd then injured

also doesnt fit in arteta's system due to him being not good on the ball and not being a presence in midfield

100% has been mis-managed. I think he can absolutely do the job of a DM but for some reason Arteta is clearly not convinced. I won't complain, I trust Arteta knows what he is doing, but he hasn't become a shit player overnight. There is more to this than meets the eye

Dont think he is mismanaged that bad. I just think he is not good enough to start for us.
Doesnt add anything going forward, limited passing range, short and weighs 60kg, decent tackling ability and good engine. Thats about it.
Dont mind him as a benchwarmer but any good offer should be accepted.
Rest in Peace SE13 :(
