What is our win ratio with and without xhaka?

127 games involving xhaka
Won 72 57 per cent draw 21 16 percent lost 34 26 percent

Without
37 games
Won 25 67 percent drew 5 13 percent lost 7 19 percent
In fairness to xhaka a lot of the games he was not involved in were Europa league games
Many of which were group games

Kinda tragic that we seem to pull these rabbits out of the bags like once in 20 or so years. DB10 and Ozil.
Ozil is a notch below imo. Alexis maybe, came after being one of the stars of the world cup (albeit deal done beforevwc started).

Aye.

Ozil and Alexis both are of course inferior to DB10. But our two biggest signings since.

This summer, however, looking at our staggering budget of £50m.. :(

We'd probably he able to spend £80-90m if we qualify for the UCL.

Most Number of Appearances, this season:

1. Alex Iwobi (47)
2. Aubameyang (46)
3. Torreira (46)
4. Lacazette (44)
5. Guendouzi (43)
6. Ramsey (39)
7. Mustafi (36)
8. Sokratis (36)
9. Xhaka (35)
10. Mkhitaryan (35)
11. Leno (34)

Most Starts, this season:

1. Aubameyang (37)
2. Xhaka (35)
3. Mustafi (35)
4. Sokratis (35)
5. Leno (33)
6. Iwobi (31)
7. Lacazette (31)
8. Guendouzi (31)
9. Torreira (29)
10. Kolasinac (29)
11. Monreal (29)

Iwobi with most appearances this season.

Xhaka and Mustafi with 2nd and 3rd most starts. Iwobi 6th.

In the League, Mustafi with the most starts followed by Leno, Xhaka, and Aubameyang.

All of this whilst our most talented player isn't in either eleven.

This is comedy gold.

And you guys wonder why we've been shit this season?

Imagine a starring cast of Iwobi, Xhaka, and Mustafi. :rofll:

Xhaka and Mustafi with the most number of starts in the League. Iwobi with the most number of appearances.

The trolls have a nice way of enunciating this.. Oh yeah. But, but, but Ozil's fault tbh.

Still can't breath. Alex Iwobi with the highest number of appearances for THE Arsenal in a single campaign.

And you guys wonder?

The Don, eh? :P

We looked good when ramzil was playing at the beginning of the season, struggled when they got taken out, we need better players though even our best players ozil, ramsey, laca and auba are unreliable and not up to it half the time.

Think our best line-up this season was:

Leno; Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Bellerín, Torreira, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil; Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Put in Niles in place of Bellerín. There was no need for so much tinkering.

If Unai wanted to switch the formation, he could have simply gone 4-2-3-1 with the same lot.

Leno; Niles, Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Torreira, Ramsey; Mkhi, Ozil, Kolasinac; Laca/Auba.

Heck, I'd have tried Mkhi at CM over the dour line-up Emery has picked for most of this season.

I am pretty much in agreement with your assessment and line up. The only difference is that I'd swap out Monreal for Holding instead, with the big northerner central and Koscielny left in the back 3 formation.

Keep:
Leno
Bellerin
AMN
Sokratis
Holding
Nacho (move to CB, but can be emergency LB)
Kola
Torreira
Guendouzi
Elneny
Iwobi (move centrally?)
Ozil
Lacazette/Aubameyang (see below)
-----------------------------------
GK: 1
FB: 3
CB: 3
Midfield: 3
Attack: 4
Total: 13/25

Out (providing right offer comes):
Kos (think he'll move to Italy, back to France, or retire)
Mustafi (≥ £20 million)
Mav (if loan opportunity comes in a top league where he'd play regularly)
Xhaka (≥ £25 million)
Mkhi (≥ £15 million)
Controversial:
Aubameyang (only if a > £60 million offer comes in and we've identified other player(s) and need to raise funds)
-or-
Lacazette (only if a > £90 million offer comes in and we've identified other player(s) and need to raise funds)
-----------------------------------
GK: 0
FB: 0
CB: 3
Midfield: 1
Attack: 2
6/25

Out:
Cech (retiring)
Lichtsteiner (end of contract)
Jenkinson (end of contract)
Ramsey (end of contract)
Suarez (end of loan)
Welbeck (end of contract)
-----------------------------------
GK: 1
FB: 2
CB:0
Midfield:2
Attack: 1
6/25

From Loan:
Ospina - out
Martinez - out (why is he still here?)
Chambers - out (reckon some bottom-half PL club would take a £10 million punt on him)
Asano - out (why is he still here?)

Summer Needs (in order):
CB
CM
Winger
Backup Striker (if Laca/Auba leaves)
Backup GK (don't think Ospina will stay)
(Backup) LB
Winger
Third Striker (if Nketiah isn't going to be given a chance)

That's £100 million to find a CB, CM, winger, and (backup) LB if Mustafi, Xhaka, and Mkhi leave. Not much in today's market, but doable. Could rise to £160-190 million if an incredible offer for Laca or Auba comes in, and we'd be able to get higher quality, a second winger, and a decent backup striker.
