But he has joined Arsenal, who are without striker Olivier Giroud for up to four months after he broke a leg.

Unai is alright, he needs more time to be judged rather than judged on being handed Wengers team and a cheapo budget.

He made a lot of effort trying new things, mainly the 4-3-3 and 3-4-1-2 with pressing style and playing it out from the back but the players he has were limited as hell, lightweight bottlers, plus the only one worth keeping that we had besides Laca and Auba was Bellerin and he was out for most of the season.

1 legged Kos, Poostafi, Ozil who retired 3 years ago etc.

Out of his signings most were very good on a small budget, Torreira, Sokratis, Leno, Douzi, all players we don't want to lose, Shitsteiner was the exception but he was top drawer his whole career so maybe worth a gamble when we were running out of funds.

2 more transfer windows will tell you if he is punching above his weight or not.

I think the Bellerin, Holding and Welbeck injurys and the fact Kos gets injured every other match ruined our chances of Champions League qualification, and if we got that everyone would think he had done a great job.
