Its seriously good stuff. There have been a couple of times where I've read a post and believed it before realising who posted it. Makes it sound legit [emoji23]

Welbeck was a deadline day signing because Giroud got injured.
The f**k you talking about.

No he wasn't.

We were looking at strikers anyway, wasn't that the year we were supposed to buy Higuain? not sure.

regardless we knew we were in for someone, its just they waited till the 11th hour bargain basement and its not the first time they did that either so don't act like it was a one off.

No that was the year we got Özil.

Giroud got injured right before the end of the transfer window.

Welbeck signing 4 days later

The Black Cats were keen to re-sign Welbeck, a Premier League winner in 2013, while Tottenham were also interested.

But he has joined Arsenal, who are without striker Olivier Giroud for up to four months after he broke a leg.

The Gunners were not expected to sign a replacement for the Frenchman, but manager Arsene Wenger said on the eve of deadline day the club remained "very active" in the transfer market.

The defence starts with the ball in their 6 yard box, facing towards their own goal, and the strikers and midfielders all stand a few metres behind the 18 yard line. Unai then counts down “3,2,1, CHAAARRRGGGEEE!!!” and on the yell, the midfielders and strikers have to frantically sprint as fast as possible to the defenders to try and win back possession. The aim of the defenders is to absorb pressure before working the ball to the wings and then stampeding up field.

Reportedly players like Özil, Auba, Laca etc. aren’t all too keen on these types of drills hence the slight unrest between them and Unai.

I watched the charge of the light brigade once
Didn't confuse it with Arsenal training though

Unai is alright, he needs more time to be judged rather than judged on being handed Wengers team and a cheapo budget.

He made a lot of effort trying new things, mainly the 4-3-3 and 3-4-1-2 with pressing style and playing it out from the back but the players he has were limited as hell, lightweight bottlers, plus the only one worth keeping that we had besides Laca and Auba was Bellerin and he was out for most of the season.

1 legged Kos, Poostafi, Ozil who retired 3 years ago etc.

Out of his signings most were very good on a small budget, Torreira, Sokratis, Leno, Douzi, all players we don't want to lose, Shitsteiner was the exception but he was top drawer his whole career so maybe worth a gamble when we were running out of funds.

2 more transfer windows will tell you if he is punching above his weight or not.

I think the Bellerin, Holding and Welbeck injurys and the fact Kos gets injured every other match ruined our chances of Champions League qualification, and if we got that everyone would think he had done a great job.

Unai must be tearing his hair out ... we are getting out muscled all across the transfer market ... his best players are being unsettled by media stories of unrest, huge bids, and ridiculous salaries ... he can't compete for the >40m without getting gazumped by any one of a dozen clubs, and even when he does identify a player within our price range they turn us down.

We are the new West Ham ... second tier signings, old men, young kids that's the arena that we are now shoping in ...

If none of the overpaid, under-performing players are prepared to leave then this is our future for the next two or three years ... sack The Don? we'll be lucky if he stays the full season, stuck with this squad and with fans already on his back, what realistic chance has he got?

If this goes on for another season, we may become a mid-table side permanently.

So why doesn’t he quit and join a better club?
Five seasons before Wenger joined Arsenal league finishes were 4,10,4,12,5.
Five seasons before Emery joined 4,3,2,5,6.
End the myth that Emery inherited a shit squad and Wenger a great one.

Put it like this West Ham rejected him before our brilliant morons hired him

I had no idea. He was indeed linked with a move to West Ham.
