Juventus are a bigger club than Arsenal?

Yes, of course they are.

It's arguable.

They have a great history, and so do we.

It's not even close. They're the most successful Italian team to Serie A history. Years of dominance. We're not even close.

Only a handful of clubs have won the Italian League title, and of course it’s much easier when you’re being bankrolled by the biggest car manufacturer in the country, and bribing referees for god knows how long before that was uncovered. Probably many decades.

It’s easier to win European titles when you don’t have to work so hard in your domestic league. That’s why Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus have so many, and the big English teams don’t.

There are many factors to consider, and many angles to look at it from.

They’re a big club, and so are we. We’re a very big club with a fantastic history.

Liverpool (6) has the third most European Cup/Champions League trophies?

Only Real Madrid (13) and AC Milan (7) have more.

Liverpool are a big club too, who won most of those European cups when they were probably the best team in world football for many years.

No English club can say that, so they are the exception.

This revisionist Ramsey sentiment on here has got me a bit woozy.

May be I have been away for so long. But since when did Ramsey become this amazing player that a lot of people are crying about?

Am i missing something here?

The guy is an average player. I predict he will continue to be that at Juventus.

But I am willing to be proven wrong.

Glad we got rid of him.

Thanks for the FA CUP winf Ramsey but bye.

Regardless of what you feel about Rambo, every single gooner should he absolutely livid that hes walked away for nothing instead of being sold for 40m-60m that could have been reinvested into the squad.

It is f***ing unforgivable that we have let 2 of our best players go for free in 2 years and have received an aging winger with no legs and massive wages on the wrong side of 30.

Have you seen who we are rumored to be in the market for? Ramsey is head and shoulders above every player we are being linked with and anyone we could buy for a paltry 40MM. He’s without doubt our best attacking midfielder at the moment.

You got it wrong. I don't know if you have some beef with hothead, but you seem to jump in to disagree with him and end up being wrong often. Maybe play the ball and not the man?

if Ramsey wanted to sign he could have done so when offered a new contract in 2016 and again in 2017 he didn't ... to then 'pretend' he would have signed in 2018 ... someone's just pulling your chain ... don't believe everything a player says when running down his contract to in the end f**k over his club and leave on a free, it's quite probably all lies

HotHead is OK at times but he's completely blind on Ramsey - he f***ked us over - Ozil - he's giving 70% at best - and The Don - only been here a year and already reached a European Final, sure lots of issues but going the right way ...

Nothing wrong with opinions, but when over time they are unquestionably wrong - Ramsey didn't sign - Ozil didn't get any better - The Don has made slight improvements not got worse ... then you should adjust them to a more measured level of hero worship / hate fest

Dude, Ramsey said he wanted a new deal at the club and the club decided he wasn't worth what he was asking. Why would you not believe him? You saying 'he f***ked us over' is pure conjecture.

I'll go with what Ramsey said. I don't think it matters that much now - he's gone. I rather suspect he asked for too much money.
Who cares anyway. In 10 years or so with us he was mostly SHITE.

This. Ramsey had a couple of decent cup finals and one decent half season in the PL before he got injured. Does that merit parity with someone like PEA who matched Salah and Aguero for goals since he came to Arsenal?

Ramsey wanted a lot more than £180k a week, thats why he is leaving.
Arsenal fans who hate other clubs more than Tottenham? Really!!

Mate we don't come close to Juventus when it comes to history. As the other poster said, would Ronaldo come to Arsenal ? They are the most successful team in Italian football, we don't come close to them when it comes to presitge. There is a reason why top players go there and not Arsenal.

their domestic league has consisted of 3 heavyweight clubs since I knew about football, Inter Milan (Juve's biggest rivals and the biggest derby game in Italy), AC Milan and Juventus. Its not always been a one horse race there.
