If this guy doesnt get his act together then the luck wont last.

We didn't win by 3-4 goals every game with Henry and bergkamp pires at a time when we were the best side in the country. They still had to ground out results, your expecting that in a rebuild when we are clearly not close to the two teams above us yet.

Really?

That team would not ship 3-4 easily against watford? City put 6 past them.

That's one team and one result the statement was 3-4 goals every game ?

Thats because people are saying we are shit and emery needs to be sacked.

Saying we are 3rd and just a point behind city is to counter the bullshit above.

But isn't it just a silly to compare us to one of the best attacking sides in history? All attacking sides have to grind out results on occasions but we're far away from being a convincing attacking team. We're grinding out results for the majority of our games with the concessional 3-4 goal comfortable game.

Yes, we are third but we have been far from convincing in any game this season. I would go as far to say that the only reason we are third is that all the teams around us have been slightly worse.

We have one of the (in theory) best attacking lines in the league and we don't utilise them correctly or play a system that gets the best out of them. On the Ozil situation it's far better to have him in the team than not at all especially for what he can do in possession.

We have a dm that we don't play as a dm and play another that has limited athleticism in Xhaka. Saying that I do think the addition of Hector and Keiren will change us quite dramatically and maybe that will allow other players to play with a bit more support and freedom.

Its a bit funny that our europa league and cup games are a tad more exciting with Freddie taking a slightly more hands on approach in those games.

Its not, but apparently this warrants Emery being sacked apparently which is my point.

BTW I love that game LA Noire! Classic.

People are worried about how we're playing and how we're getting results. It's not sustainable over an entire season, and if we still look the same when Bellerin and Tierney return, then I wouldn't be surprised to see another late-season collapse and everyone who's currently saying to give Emery more time wondering what went wrong when the answer was in front of them the entire time.

There seems to be a lot of mystic Megs on this forum that can see into the future, lets just wait and see what happens at the end of the season, if he fcuks up he has to go simple as but until then give the guy a break.

That was 10 years before he went for me, by that logic we have another 9 years of Emery LOL

I think the target of the 'project' is progression.

If he gets third and the Europa i'll be happy, not content, but happy, then i'd expect further progression over the next 4-5 years.

Something that would help us greatly would be making some big profits, players like Guendouzi and Saliba could net us huge profits in the future, like Liverpool did in the last 10 years, their business has been shrewd as hell, and i'd rather that than the City way of buying everybody in sight and winning because they have a huge bank balance (now).

Didn't everybody, he was going downhill fast this guy has not been here two seasons yet. Big difference, like I said lets see where we are at the end of the season before packing his bags.

Emery looks like such a nerd in training running around with the players and pointing to where they should be passing. Seriously embarrassing.

Yup. Hands on approach is great compared to the stand on the sidelines and let them get on with it Wenger way

In just over a year we have seen vast improvement.

It's looking good
