If Miki was gonna go then why did he come on Yesterday

Could have played Ozil or Nelson ffs

Wenger played Nasri against Liverpool just before he left for City.

Played Ox at RWB and Bellerin LWB before he moved to Liverpool

Something is off with his judgement.

Wow. I’m happy with the move however this really highlights how out of depth Unai is. Why on earth did he bring him on yesterday over Nelson or Ozil ?

This can’t do Unai any favours in terms of his standing. Already spoken to about not giving youth enough chances last season in the circumstances - as seen with the appointment of Freddie to address this.

Shocking decision

The last two games have made me question Emery. Should have started his best team or at least had plans other than to contain the opposition. Our best players are in the offensive. We need to get the best out them to make sure we outscore the opposition cos the defence and people like Xhaka will commit errors at the back all season long.

How can you support Emery when the man has made Xhaka captain, which essentially renders him undroppable?

Ask Nuggets when he returns from hiatus.

Personally, I find it funny how someone can despise Wenger and then turn around and unironically fawn over Emery, despite his shortcomings that Wenger would've been dragged over coals for.

There is this weird type of thinking going around the forum. People think that since they were advocates to get Wenger out that they have to defend Emery no matter what now, as if that makes them wrong somehow for wanting Wenger out.

And then you have the opposite. The people that didn't want Wenger out for the life of them can't say one good thing or support Emery. :dizzy:

The thing I don't like is being totally negative about Wenger. Modern Arsenal is due to Wenger, and his massive contribution. Like most dynasties, there's rise , success and finally a decline, but in the forum, there's a tendency to belittle all Wenger's achievements, and blame him no matter what.

That's unpalatable for me. His tenure is over now , and expect the new management to learn from the past shortcomings and improve upon it, but if that doesn't happen, they'll be open to criticism. There should be some tangible sign of improvement, which we don't see so far.

Yup, it's hella strange. Like it's not enough to judge them on their own merits, you have to overcompensate the other way for Wenger/Emery from the view you hold on Emery/Wenger. Wenger haters have become Emery stans and Wenger stans have become Emery haters.

Now, not everyone falls into one of the two above camps. You have miserable fucks like me who don't want either man in charge

Emery needs to fix up or his contract is not getting renewed at the end of the season.
He needs to start exciting the fans or it is going to be a very long season.
Ask wenger about it.
