Its all about consistency. Got to win the winnable ones.
All the gripe about Emery and current management is about treating our current players fairly, carry on with all that is good with the club, improve upon the little short comings, and not go for wholesale changes by imposing new systems.

It's incredible what a big win can do to the morale of the players and the fans.

More of the same, please.

Nah, just run a poll as to who hates Ozil the most and award him the honor.

Everyone will be happy that way.

Name the posters who actually hate Ozil?

I count about 5 on this whole forum give or take, the way you've been going on is like 3/4 of the forum do.

From those who indulge, I'd say everyone apart from Sims, Santi, Ach, and myself.

But I'm ready to accept the notion that Ozil is the most loved Gunner of all time if that ensures peace and development in these poverty regions.

^ You don't. I'm not talking about you obvs.

But in this Unai euphoria, you have been overlooking quite a few things.

As a Gooner, I'd wish your version was truer than mine is.

I have objected to his continued trial of 3-4-3 when its been obvious its not as good as 4-3-3 for some time now

I've objected to his obsession of under par players like Iwobi and Xhaka

But on the whole we're right in where we expected to be if not more competitive, we've hardly had any spankings this year bar the 2nd Liverpool game and a dire West Ham performance.

He still hasn't got in his players yet and Ozil is due to reappear any moment which I'm looking forward and for everyone involved I hope he bends on the pressing and makes an effort to join Laca and Auba into carrying out that one Emery instruction so this sh*t can be dropped.

A bit of pressing is an improvement on the berating he used to get from AFC fans for not tracking back defenders when Wenger stuck Ozil wide in a 5 man midfield meaning he was proper LW, not LAM like he is in a 4-3-3 which he can handle.

Ozil is also handling it quite well attitude wise which I'm pleased about, Laca has calmed down as well which he must realise he's playing over Auba starting in his favored ST central role ............. certainly better fkin treatment then Wenger was giving him benching him completely for fkin Giroud!!!

We have it all to look forward to, be patient.

I dislike Ozil as a person because of his narcissism and sympathy for Erdogan.
I am frustrated with Ozil as a footballer because he's inconsistent and given what we know he's capable of, he could do so much more for us on the pitch.
I don't hate Ozil and nor do >90% of people who criticize him. It's mostly just frustration and the heat of the moment that makes it seem like he is being despised or hated. However it's convenient for people who have a very favorable view of Ozil to just paint the picture that their opposites have an agenda and are just hating for the sake of it, so the victim card can be played and any legitimate criticism ignored. I'm really sick of it tbh. Quit whining and accept that both sides have a point.
