One goal wins is not always scraping

We were comfortable v Newcastle. Did they even create anything?

And second half we were dominant v Burnley and should've put them to bed. Hardly scraping

Still not convinced by Emery. He lacks confidence. His tactics are too conservative and he cuts a nervous figure on the touch line.

Great result but a lot of the reason we’re struggling in these games is the managers tactics. Why are we trying to sit back and hold on to 1 goal lead with 20 mins left when it was obvious they couldn’t handle our attack. It’s wenger esque tactics in his final 2 seasons.

You watched the game and many other opening games. Were not even close to full strength but you want full strength performances immediately.

New players will take time to adapt.

Players like Nelson and willock are finding their feet.

Luiz debut.

Pepe home debut.

Laca coming back from injury.

Monreal and AMN third and second string players.

Yet you're consistently ignoring all that and are disappointed because we dont look like title contenders.

Just try and look at things objectively for a bit and you might have a better time watching us at under half strength until we can put out a proper starting 11.

God the excuses keen on coming. Newcastle were playing their first games under a manger facing mass fan unrest and bedding in multiple new players. We scraped a win against them.

Next two games we will see where we’re at. I’d love to be wrong but I just can’t see what Unai has brought to the table since he’s arrived.

I like the passion Emery has shown this season but we are simply not playing well enough.
Arsenal shouldn't scrap wins against relegation candidate Newcastle and Burnley at Home.

So

Ozil
Tierney
Bellerin
Torriera
Pepe (fully settled)
Holding

Wont make a difference to our play?

How do you think other teams would do without that amount of first teamers? Would liverpool, city, chelsea, spurs be as silky?

it's a form of delusion.. AFC are actually, at all times, among the geratest teams who ever played and should dispatch anybody not in top 6 without blinking...

People crying because we bagged 6 points with a half strength team and its ruined their negativity party.

The state of this fanbase.
