Then you were under a false impression from the start ............ because Emery doesn't make the signings or authorize them, so why is he accountable in your eyes?

As Gazidis was so fond of reminding u, Unai Emery is just the team coach, he does not make the signings, that job is Misinslat's .......... but before you blame Misinslat consider, he can only sign players with funds, as most know our budget this window so far is operating on a lowly £50m.

With players like Torriea, Guendouzi and others he's managed to get all around that budget cap, he's actually done a great job.

CB has to be our next investment though.

Not Emery’s fault but look at the goalkeeper signings Liverpool and Chelsea have made compared to us. We are done for.

As far as i can see the structure we have, Emery tells which positions to fill and prepares a shortlist while Sven goes out and buys provided they fit in the budget. Looks like Kroenke is too busy with his takeover and Sven/Emery can only watch.

Perhaps in the future. As it stands this summer the players were identified before emery was given the job. That’s why he’s lobbying for Nzonzi. Unsuccessfully it seems.

I think what's clear now is that the signing of players is a joint effort between numerous men at the club so we can't attribute a player's success or failure to one person, even if this is hard for some people to accept.

His hold over English has improved so much since his arrival. He is definitely working hard in every area.

Yes.

His enthusiasm is there for all to see as well.

I think we'll see him pacing up and down like a jack rabbit during those big games.

Wouldnt actually surprise me if Cech started on Sunday but I want it to be Leno, he is the future now.

How the hell is Xhaka getting a captaincy spot? Hes a headless chicken at times and even refuses to stay with whoever needs marking.

Scouting failure if Cech starts ahead of Leno.

Seems like Xhaka will get the nod over Matteo then.

I can forgive Unai if Mesut is wearing the armband

Another season of Cech as No 1 would be unbearable
