Also, Unai or Emery?

From what Massa told me it would need to be abbreviated.

So simple and basic but stuff we've been without for so long, proper player coaching.

Absolutely buzzing for the new season, I know we'll likely call a loss to City and co on our first few games but as long as I can see some fight in the team (and I believe we will) then I'll be happy for now.

A draw or nick a win would be lovely though just to make a marker for the season although might be asking too much from Unai's first match.

Can't decide if it's a shame or a blessing, we could get two hard fixtures out the way without any real expectation of victory and then not have to face them for ages. At the same time it'd be nice to get off to a good start and face these twats when our guys are really firing.

Best scenario is we f***ing destroy them both in game 1 and 2. :arse fan: :arse fan:

There's a chance. We have a lot of fresh first teamers available having had a full pre season.

They'll have loads of players who have gone deep into the world cup, who might still be on holiday or completely f***ked from the extra football.

On the flip side, we've bought in a lot of players who still need to get used to the new system along with the existing that need to do the same.

As long as we don't get molested I'm fine if we win lose draw, I'm expecting to see proper changes by November / December tbh.

We still need a winger. I've been looking at the squad list on Arse.com and the need for one is clear

And what's going on with Asano and Akpom ffs? Just get rid.

Yup, a bit player coaching surely wouldv'e prevented the consistent errors players used to make.

It's gonna be an up hill battle when city united Chelsea and apparently Liverpool spend the way they do. More so the first two tho.

Yep. Glad we're addressing our weaknesses but still can't help thinking we're not much closer to the top 4 than we were before.

Realistically we've signed 5 new players and not one would be a guaranteed starter for City, Liverpool, Chelsea, United or Spurs.

£200m+ in cash reserves which pre-CL exit was always branded as being there in case we dropped out of the CL... Push comes to shove and we're now told we have a £50m budget.

I don't care what other teams do and what other teams spend! As long as Arsenal buy the right players, coach them well and use good tactics on match days, we have as good a chance as any to win the title.

We've had squad deficiencies for years. It was important to fill those gaps, so we're not once again relying on players playing out of position, or just ignoring the position altogether (CDM).

We all know Arsenal don't have the cash for 5x £80 - 120m top tier players, even the likes of Chelski and City don't have that cash, or if they do, they don't spend that much on 5 players in a window.

So what you want? 5 good pro players filling the gaping holes, or 1 star player and 4 gaping holes in the squad?
