Great AFC games you've attended.

As a newbie to the forum, perhaps I should introduce myself to all. By all accounts I'm an armchair fan these days, enjoying my footie in HD in comfort, although I used to stand on the North Bank all those years ago from the mid 70's onwards. I occasionally venture up to watch a match, the last being that memorable (second) 0-3 defeat by Citeh in a half empty ground in -3 temps! Still love my team though!

Anyway, there have been some classic games over the years and just wondered which ones you've been to and what your memories are of the day.

I was there when we won 5-0 at three points lane, which was epic but rather scary as my mate and I could only get into the Spuds area and had to get the old bill to let us jump into the Arsenal end. (It was that Liam Brady curler goal) Anyway, leaving the ground was interesting as we had to get past about 10,000 spuds wanting blood. I managed to do a 180 turn amongst the carnage and back slowly into the oppo and despite some sideways glaces, slipped away

Another classic win the 1979 FA Cup when we were pulled back to 2-2 by Manure and Alan Sunderland scored the winner......I can still remember every detail. I went to Wembley on my own and bought a ticket for £35 which was all I had in the world and got right in behind the goal.....epic day!

Similar thing happened to me at Arsenal v Spurs FA Cup Semi final at Wembley when we won 1-0, Donkey won the derby !!! I was naive as f**k, boosted by confidence I could take care of myself, I headed off Arsenal scarf draped around me outside the stadium - toward the Tottenham end where my car was parked. Got about 10m in and got bounced and tripped, then surrounded by 20m. I looked around and never forget the feeling, scared beyond belief. I pretended to be "packing" and moved slowly backwards .... towards a mounted policeman, let out a sigh of relief, checked to see my nuts were still there and walked off with the Arsenal fans. Don't think I shit my pants more at a football match.

Away at Spurs again when donkey won the derby 0-1 was amazing, the away fans were magnificent all game, the floor was bouncing.

Arsenal 6-0(?) Coventry In 1991 when we were presented with the Division One trophy

Arsenal 5-0 Porto

2017 FA Cup Final

Europa league game this season at home to Koln, their fans were incredible and I was right next to them in the clock end.

The Welbeck winner against Leicester at home when we were still in with a fighting chance of the title.

FA Cup semi last year against Man City, because nobody expected us to win.

The 1-0 at OT when Adebayor got the winner, was stuck in the home end with my Arsenal shirt under a jumper and attending with my Dad who supports United. First big away game I'd been too.

Henry's return against Leeds when he banged the winner.

Atletico away just for the atmosphere and hope all the way through, can only imagine how mental it would've been had we won.

Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool in the FA Cup - first game I'd been to where the atmosphere was actually incredible for 90 mins. Highbury library myth was well and truly killed for those 90 mins. Think it was a week after they twatted us as well.

The 7-0 against Everton back in '05.

Arguably Bergkamp's greatest ever performance and the pinnacle of Wenger ball.

Oh yeah just remembered that in our final season at Highbury, I went up for the last time to say my goodbyes and it was the match when Sol Campbell did a runner at HT and we lost 3-2. FFS...don’t think he ever played again!

Didn’t we beat them 5-2 twice in a short space of time? It was my office router code...to piss off a colleague who was a spurs supporter.

Wouldn't say it was my favourite one but the game against Newcastle at the Emirates back in 2012 was so good.

I remember Spurs were right out infront in terms of points. Then the comeback begun.

1-0 down early on and Tim Krul started acting like an absolute d***head by time wasting. Tommy V popped up with a very late winner and the ground erupted because we knew we would get 4th over Spurs then.

RVP kicking off with Krul at the end just put the icing on the cake.

The atmosphere was electric the the whole night.
