The last goodbye.

The last of his kind.

The old era of football is now no more.

Made this club one of the most attractive clubs in the world and I'll always be grateful. Hopefully now we can enjoy those glory days again, sunny May days lifting the trophy.

Hindsight 20/20 ~ last 10 years.

Man managed to finish in the top-4 despite limited resources; the same top-4 that is coveted today.

Won 3 FA Cups in the past 5 years. This season doesn't even count because the board should have acted last summer.

Played some breathtaking football.

Ashburton Grove.

Transformed Arsenal to a global franchise and ensured its long-term future.

GOAT.

the man himself said the post emirates era where we had literally 0 finances, the bank wouldnt loan us money unless he was a manager etc was the peak of his management. and i agree with him. i'd say from 2012/13 was the start of the true decline of his ability as a manager

Round about.

I'd say 13/14.

We still had the shackles on until 2012.

That UCL Final in 2006 and our collapse in 07/08 are my two regrets. Wenger deserved it on both instances, yet fate was against us.

This !!

Arsene just couldnt adapt to the new  big money era. Some bad decisions in the transfer market and key injuries did the rest

Fergie retired at the right time. Even he wouldnt be successful today.

He is a legend he is unlucky the oil money came in and the TV deals increased so much, otherwise he would be viewed differently as he would have put us far clear of everyone bar united.

No doubt he himself has been poor for a long time but he is unlucky his work was meaningless.

Well I'll be damned.

Why couldn't you have just said this months ago and avoided all your rows with other posters.

Probably the most sane and good post I've ever seen from you, congrats.

Just realised I've never seen anyone else manage Arsenal, was too small when Graham was here
