Wenger and Dlck Law would know what to do, and we should bring Patricia Rice out of retirement, they would stabilize us and get us back into the champions league positions this season in my opinion.

Look at your own post, then consider who was in charge of recruitment at Arsenal during that time. Once you've done that look at your list again and then consider what's missing .... where are all the signings from the last decade? A decade when Arsene had full control of all transfers .... make the same list from 2007-17 and the vast majority of these were indeed pubbers

Denilson, Botelho, Diarra, Eduardo, Silvestere, Bischoff, Silva, Chamakh, Gervinho, Santos, Park, Podolski, Viviano, Debuchy, Paulista. Welbeck, Chambers, Elneny

Nobody is denying that in his first decade Wonger was top drawer, but to simply forget how his socialist transfer and contract policy dragged us down to where we are today, that's revisionist history at it's finest ......

Podolski wasn't a pubber, he was a quality LWF who Wenger screwed over by playing him as a target man. Eduardo wasn't a pubber he got a career threatening injury!

I was with you until "quality". He was adequate. Did have a peach of a left foot though. Will give him that.

Most of the players on the list aren't even pubbers. Eduardo, Podolski, Welbeck, Elneny, Debuchy, Gabriel, Gervinho, and even Chambers.

Might not be top quality players but all of them served their functions and some of them were plain unlucky.

How much do you think Chamakh and Diarra cost? Or, Silvestre? It's astonishing that our transfer record was £16m until 2013.

I guess we'll have to fork out SAF's list of pubbers too..

Not everything is black and white. The worst signings for us have been Xhaka and Mustafi for a combined £70m and it's said that those were Gazidis' signings.

Diarra was class not sure why he gets a mention. Did good in a short spell and was a miss when he left.

I didn't think he did well with us, but he went to Madrid and they apparently loved him.

Diarra was played at both CM and RB in his short time with us. He was a bit of a brat and wanted to leave basically straight away. Though I have no idea why we couldn't have loaned him instead of sold him to Pompey.

Him, Flamini, Hleb and Gilberto all leaving in 2008 f***ked us up in the midfield area for the entire next decade.

10 days to go until total Wenger oblivion

He said he would manage again this season.... then reiterated that he would find a job in January

On February 1st he is not only a former Arsenal manager, he is confirmed as a bum, a nobody, unwanted and irrelevant

Wenger's career death party will be in this thread folks, and I'm hosting

We were told for years to be careful what we wish for and if he left big clubs would be all in for him.

Real have needed a manager twice and he wasn't even considered. Bayern, psg, Napoli, Chelsea didn't go near him.

He has been humiliated
