Denis_E, the biggest positive for me is that this is Arteta's first job.

There is zero way he will tolerate underperforming players. If he doesn't get this right, he'll never get a top job again. I think he'll surprise a lot of people by being ruthless

To be honest, we've known for quite a long time that the Arsenal board is crap. Wenger bought them a lot of time. And in turn, they kept him in charge for tool long. The gift that keeps on giving.

If he gets the job he will have to be ruthless with this lazy unmotivated lot, if they do select him something is not right. :hiding:

I'm not that pessimistic about Arteta really but he's been given a shit squad and pennies to fix it. That's not a good sign for a first job.

Lol the state of this club. Now media reports say they are thinking of talking to Henry next week. You wonder why Viera felt offended. If you were going to consider ex-players, why not start with folks who really contributed to the recent league title winning days at the club? Why consider them and treat them like 2nd options?

...JUST GIVE IT TO HENRY!!! I rather him that slow poke Arteta. They both could fail big but let Henry have it.

........ 1 - nil to The Arsenal

Our next manager? Sounds like it's already Gazidis. Our next coach? Guess we'll see.
