Arsene's Arsenal World Cup Fantasy Squad

Picking the squad the same way I pick the squad for a world cup in FM

GKs - Seaman, Lehmann and Almunia

First 2 are simple enough. Third keeper was out of Almunia, Szczesny, Ospina and Cech. Ospina arguably best of them all but never had a long run as number one. Almunia was pretty good in 07/08 and most of next season before turning completely to shit so hes in

RBs - Sagna and Dixon.

Dixon was a must but as cover. Sagna gets in ahead of Lauren cos as a pure RB he was awesome. Bellerin didn't stand a chance

LBs - Cole and Monreal.

Again Cole was the simple choice. Monreal in cos hes better than Clichy, Gibbs and Silvinho even if he isn't that good himself. Winterburn probably came close but he was on his last legs

CBs - Adams, Campbell, Toure and Keown

First 2 are self explanatory. Toure can cover all across the back four if needed and Keown was immense. As much as I love Mert, he wasn't as good as those four. Thought about Vermaelen as well but that would be more for his goals than defending so left him out. Others didn't stand a chance.

DMs - Gilberto, Vieira and Petit

Greatest midfield partnership we ever had with those first 2. Petit quality cover and added him after realising I couldn't think of a fourth forward lol

RWs - Ljungberg and Walcott

Goals and hard work. Couldn't really think of anyone else. Parlour wasn't as good as them as much as I think hes awesome. Freddie a big game player and over 100 goals from Theo from the right. Simple inclusion

LWs - Pires and Overmars

2 of my favourite players ever. Both of them ahead of Alexis every day.

AMs - Ozil and Bergkamp

Bergkamp is our greatest player ever and can play up front if needed. Ozil is just sublime

FWs - Henry, Wright, RVP

Before Salah was, RVP was and before RVP, it was Henry. Wright was awesome in Wengers first couple of years
