Postby Royal Gooner » Fri Apr 20, 2018 9:09 am

We thought it would never happen. But it has. Arsene Wenger is retiring as Arsenal manager.

A great manager in his first 10 years but for the last few seasons, a song comes to mind in reaction to the news:

The Greatest Arsenal Manager of All-time and One of the Greatest Managers Ever

One Arsene Wenger

Thank you, Arsene Wenger

I hope we don't taint his legacy by appointing someone like Brendan Rodgers or Eddie Howe to succeed him.

Mods - can we please enforce some decorum on this thread as a sign of respect to out longest serving and most successful manager. Thank you.

The intitial title was "Arsene Wenger Retires", which is fairly reasonable to state. I am not being malicious or reveling in it, it. My initial comment was intended as an expression of relief.

His time has come, he over stayed - but respect to man.

Lets win the Europa League for him and us (CL) and lets sing his name for the remaining games.

He has finally done what most wanted. Park that it took so long.

#respect
