When you play every minute of every game, it's not surprising. Arteta hasn't shown that he's capable of managing a squad properly. He overexerts some, bins others.

Out for the season

Arteta, just go. Take the board with you. Not getting a striker when one was needed for 3 windows minimum is a sackable offence

Surely we've got to hit the free agent market now?

Who's out there?

We did have really good youth team striker Obi-Martin who could have been fast tracked due to his performances but instead we sold him to Man U were hes doing really well and being fast tracked currently with them he was on bench for them in fa cup other night

Ironically, he'd probably be starting for us now

Thing is it's nothing new

Many of us have been flagging squad depth and rotation issues season and season under Arteta

Players can only play so much before they crumble

How a professional manager and his fitness staff can't see what was so clear is appalling.

Arteta spent the entire window begging for reinforcements. This isn't on him, it's on the do-nothing interim sporting director and the Kroenkes. Their inaction is the problem.

this is resignation worthy, especially after he drove off anybody from the academy that could have stepped in.

The free agent market doesn't look promising. Whole bunch of players ,who haven't played for close to a year. Amongst them Diego Costa at 36.

Probably have to be innovative and try Merino or Califiori as no9, as some of the papers suggests.
Who's currently playing striker for the under 21?

He's begging for reinforcements because he spent all summer chasing Sesko, who he failed to sign. This while proven strikers like Osimhen, Watkins and Toney were available at various prices.

Even as late as this window, he failed to sign Morata on loan, and is using up a loan place for Sterling, who doesn't even play. This is what happens when you have one person running the club.

Its absolutely dire looking isn't it?

Looks like we're just going to play Trossard up front for the rest of the season.

It is not just a striker. We're left w/3 fit forwards now. Three of our regulars, Saka, Martinelli, and now Havertz are all out for a while. We have to look for replacements. Can we bring back Nelson at least?
