Scored 3 others of course, the final goal in a rout against Bolton when they were well beaten (would expect a decent from man to score at least a couple against such a poor side).

So overall he’s been ok, but his goalscoring leaves a lot to he desired and two of those goals which were unimportant (and very fortunate in the last game), inflate his numbers somewhat.

His strength seems to be, dark arts and making a nuissance of himself, as for outstanding qualities, doesn’t really have any, just a physical player who uses a lot of gamesmanship and generally scores easy goals.

Stop chatting rubbish, of course it counts!!

Jesus wouldn't have scored that because he wouldn't have made that run or been in that position, thats what Havertz does so well. If Havertz wasn't there that goal wouldn't have been scored.

Are you alright?

It’s bounced of him, he knew nothing about it, pure luck, could have gone anywhere but it bounced off him, it could have gone 5 yards further back and he wouldn’t be in the right place.

How anyone can attribute that to his awareness/skills is beyond me.

How/why not good enough? He has 3 goals and an assist in 6 league games this season, whats wrong with that?

Less than a goal every two games is poor for a striker at the highest level.

But he won’t. More likely he’ll have another 10-15 goals season which won’t be enough.

Mate, he was offside. The only reason the goal counted is because a Leicester player passed to him.

You ignored my point which was - had he not made the run he wouldn't have been there for the ball to rebound off him. He makes good runs.

His numbers since being a CF (Feb 2024) do not agree with you.

He played 15 games and scored 9 goals. This season 6 games and scored 3. So that's 21 league games and currently scored 12 goals and I haven't even mentioned the 7 assists he has made!

So by the rules of the game he cannot be offside then.

You just countered your own point bro

Mock all you want. Everyone knows that a goal every other game is the strike rate of a good striker, your average striker will get 1 in 3

Real ballers could see this. He’s perfect for Spurs.

Agree - i never understood the Maddison love here.
Mid player who at his highest level now, playing for Spurs.
There is a reason no big club wanted him - even at £30m
He's a good player.
He can have great games from time to time and he can even string together a short run, but over a season? No.
