Don't be upset Havertz has been a success.
I mean you said he wasn't as good as anyone that could be pulled from the crowd, so the least you could do having gone so overboard is to accept you were being a fool.
It's one of those situations that you can be happy you were so badly wrong, something you should be used to.

Honestly, I think he has been brilliant since Feb 2024.

Indeed.
One of the best players in the world in 2024, much to the annoyance of some of our fans, strangely.

Its not as outlandish as it seems Ach, he has been putting in some bloody good performances consistently since Feb.

Yeah he's been pretty decent. Mateta even better. Is he one of the best in the world?

Yeah, second in the PL for goal contributions since he started firing.
Can’t deny he’s one of the best over the last 7 to 8 months and into the new season.
Of course he needs to keep it up.
Great start to the new season though.

It's baffling why any Gooner would not be giving him proper respect these days.
I guess its just to do with not being able to just change the mind without feeling somehow embarrassed.
I don't get that either. If things change, seems sensible to change views instead of getting entrenched.

Haaland scores his second hatrick of the season. 7 goals in 3 games. But thank god we don’t have him. He doesn’t do more.

Haaland and Mbappe are the best in the world though.

.......and we don't have or claim to have that.

Havertz is doing well but isn't perfect and we know that.

Not clinical by any means, others would argue he is clinical in today's terms of playing on carpet and picking up penalties for being breathed on and being challenged by defenders with their arms tied behind their backs.
But he is doing the job, I actually fear the day that stops because we are then solely dependant on wide players.

If we are going to beat City we have to match them. Can’t let them run away again.

City are beatable, we proved that last season. Liverpool look like they can do a bit this season too. City are not gonna run away with anything.

We look beatable too, Villa probably should have beaten us.
