Inferior version?

After 13/14, when has Ramsey ever done anything worthwhile in the League? He's always been a Cup player for us.

So, an inferior version of that would be Denilson, who was a better passer than Ramsey.

I'm really pleased we got this guy, i think he will be eager to impress, with him, a top winger, Tierney and a top cb we could really close the gap on the top 2, almost guaranteed 3rd.

According to Spanish journalist Arancha Rodriguez, Dani is already in London and an announcement is expected soon.

Can't announce a signing when medical/pics aren't even completed yet.

Also Arsenal very rarely, if ever announce signings during the afternoon or evening hours.

Good signing and a very wise piece of business.
:arse flag.gif:

Meanwhile Newcastle have just signed a striker for £40m who scored 7 goals last year ... :rofll:
So glad we're not getting suckered into blowing cash on over rated and over valued players. Hope that continues.

According to some on this board, we should be paying double that to sign a certain winger who scored 10 goals last season.

Except we haven't signed shit .... same things were said by some about Suarez how did that work out .... this lad is not famed for his commitment just 56 games in the last two years only 35 of those in the league ... very worried he will indeed see this as a "year off" and do a Suraez on us ...

There are a few possible scenarios -

Hardly plays contributes very little .... see you later
Plays OK as a squad member .... but not worth the 50m RM will want .... see you later
Plays well we get top four .... we (I hope) have a first option and sign a good player for 50m... BINGO
Plays a blinder .... goes to a big club for huge money or heads back to RM .... see you later

If he drives our squad to a CL place it will be the best bit of business we've done in years, if not it just creates an even bigger issue next summer, guess we have no other choice that's what happens after a decade of screw-ups

If he’s great he’ll go back to Real.
If he’s good Real will use the loan as a shop window to advertise him to the highest bidder.
If he’s mediocre they’ll sell him to us.
If he sucks no one will want him.

Asensio will miss the majority of the 2019-20 season after he ruptured knee ligaments ... that's bound to have an impact on RM as Asensio was pretty much guaranteed to play 45 games if fit ...
