Didn't really notice him but I did lose interest in the second half

We're not changing formations, that's one thing I do agree with Arteta, you either fit the system or don't play.

The system is bigger than any one individual as it effects the jobs of the whole team.

However no reason Cebellos couldn't play the Ozil CAM role in our 4-2-3-1 and just drop deep to help the deeper CM's when not in possession, we don't need to change formation for that.

Fair point DG. Would you say that's the way he played when he came on?

Played a good chance in behind the defenders, not to bad for someone who hasn't played for weeks. Less than half a game, team didn't settle once bournmouth went to a 5 man midfeild although

Honestly, I wouldn’t really give this guy minutes. First off, he’s not our player. Second, if he is sold, it will be for more than we can afford. Third, he still has aspirations of playing for Real. Meaning that if his time at Real is over and he goes and thrives somewhere else the prospect of them giving him a call back will always look over your head. Best to just move on from this.

Exactly. Looking out a couple years we will need a solid 10 or at least another Cazorla type to get the most of the likes of Saka, Pepe, Martinelli and Nketiah. I hope Willock is that guy. I really like Ceballos, and wish he had been signed permanently but he is not the long term solution. Ozil is not coming back into anything like his previous best form no matter where he plays. He needs to go to Italy.

Agreed

Cazorla would be the perfect type of CAM we need in this team.

Works hard, can pass and create but can also dribble at and past players, will also shoot if on goal.

I miss Rosicky and Cazorla, small guys but big hearts and solid skills, both of them barely ever put a foot wrong on the pitch.

Must start. Need his positivity and creativity getting the ball forward. Allows Ozil not to have to drop deep and provides another option to the CBs vs long balls & passing to fullbacks.

If he keeps playing like this, we should be trying fo buy him from Madrid.

Such a positive performance from this guy. Hopefully we see more of him. The first 30 minutes I was just watching how we coped and we looked comfortable in possession and moving it around. Once we stepped it up a notch the goals and chances started to come.

Excellent today as a CM, reminded me a bit of the way Cazorla used to sure up our play in midfield, tackle, pass, carry the ball he can do it all.

Problem is Real being Real they'll want to pull our pants down and I don't think the brass will go for it.

If they'll accept somewhere south of £30m then we should definitely look at it.
