Another quiet game for Ceballos. He's hit and miss.

Imo in the 1st half and our best period of play he was our worst player, he gave away some dreadful passes.
But that midfeild 3 of partey xhaka and cebellos were absolute dross together

He was the worst of the midfield for sure in the first half. Kept giving it away and was hardly involved.

Considering up until quite recently we mostly lauded Ceballos as our best CM, now we have Partey who is absolute quality, can it be the drop in performance is because Of Xhaka's limitations ? Or do we think Ceballos was shit because he had a shit game ?

He probably looked worse because Arteta had 3 CM's all doing the same thing.

There is no reason to play 3 CM's all doing similar roles, even Partey couldn't really shine.

Partey was the worst performing midfield player against Leicester ... he will be 'absolute quality' only when he steps up at least three levels from that terrible performance yesterday. He has to earn his reputation in the EPL, it's a whole lot tougher than La Liga.

I have no doubt he will, he IS quality and will prove it. Not so sure about the players around him though, only so much one man can do. But Ceballos should absolutely be playing far better than he has been in recent games. I just think everyone is playing below par and is having a massive affect on our performances.

Folks EVERYONE in arsenal from arteta down should be doing better atm.

I think too much is being expected of Daniel as he is surrounded by either super defensive midfielders or not being supported by artata choosing players who can help him.

Hes being left to shoulder the creative burden and only saka a 19 year old is being put on the pitch to assist hi.

Thats artetas fault not Danis.

Maybe the new hairdo makes him more aero dynamic and he can finally move a little quicker out there?

Don’t really rate this guy, bit of a nothing player, the hype machine really went into overdrive at the end of the season and masked what is a player with a very limited impact on games.

He's tidy and has his moments, but certainly won't boss any games in the Prem......he's all we've got though!

I think it was his second arsenal game when he popped up with 2 assists, Burnley if I recall. Barring the FA Cup winner v Sheffield Utd, he's flattered to deceive.
