Our best player today should have started the game the only one trying to make things happened, that defence splitting pass for Lacazette was world class

Ceballos MOTM against Sheffield by a mile.

Then he was taken off and Sheffield ran the show for the rest of the match.

Arteta needs another creative midfielder asap. Xhaka, Elneny offer nothing creative IMO.

Stop Ceballos and Arsenal will play exactly as they did against Liverpool the other night - offering nothing to our attackers.

Arsenal shouldn't rely on one creative midfielder for the season.

Definitely (one of) Parteys partner depending on, if we play two or three in the middle.
Partey and Ceballos are set. Third between Saka, Willian, Xhaka and El Neny depending on the game.

Agreed we should only do a 3 at the back against big clubs and big games so next game we might have to do it but against games we should be attacking we need to do 3 in mid with El neny partey Ceballos

Mediocre player. His level is mid table in Spain. Bit of a tragedy we depend on him given the number of creative midfielders we had just a few seasons ago.

Mate are you tripping ?! He has looked every bit the player we need in large patches this season. Once more pieces of the puzzle come together we will have a very convincing team.

We are definitely moving in the right direction and are ahead of schedule.

Except we don't own him, we're borrowing him from RM for another 10m this year, we have no option to buy and he will still have 2 years on his RM contract when he returns next summer .... this may be a good puzzle piece for this season but it just underscores how ridiculous are transfer strategy remains ... if we have 60m to spend next summer it will all have to go on Ceballos when RM hold us to ransom, for that transfer money we will have gained nothing on the pitch from this season, if we don't pay we will lose that key piece, quite possibly to an EPL rival after we've provided him two years of contract free EPL experience.

We are only paying his wages. Don't think there was a loan fee involved and RM can't hold us to ransom coz A. They won't use him since Zidane hates him for some reason m B. Danny will push to come back here and reject everywhere else and C. They'll need any bit of money they can get as they'll push for haaland, mboopi and cavaniga next season so will be happy to get anything. 20 mil should do it next season.

It’s easy to soar like an eagle when you’re surrounded by turkeys. He’s been our best midfielder because the competition are pubbers like El Neny, Torreira and Guendouzi. He wouldn’t get in the squad if we still had peak Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey and Arteta.

Good point on Zidane he outlasted Bale and he could well outlast Dani ... as for the loan deal, last year we paid a fee and 50% of his wages this year we are paying no fee and 100% of his wages, probably tax reasons but overall about the same cost.

Ceballos is on roughly 60k a week, he deserves 200k a week or so his agent Bahia claim .... bearing in mind what we pay all our other star players if he has a decent season then 200k a week is probably what he will cost ... I hope you're right about him only signing for us and that RM will let him go cheap, but be honest if he has a stellar season then when City, Utd or Liverpool come with huge money offers will he reject them to stay with us? If he has a good a season and Covid is behind us 50m or more could easily be his asking price ... 20m not unless he breaks both legs ...

As with a lot of big decisions next summer CL football is going to make a massive difference - qualify or not that could shape our next five years.
