Nope. Not a prop. Just a fact.

Sanchez clearly misses him. And I am not the only one that has been saying that.

"In a way he made Sanchez a better player." - Paul Merson

Ozil understood where Alexis liked the ball and when to give it to him. Which is not surprising because that is what Ozil's strength is.

Nothing to do with playing under wenger? Hleb fabregas Eduardo all examples of players who looked better than they were under him

In another post, I have actually outlined a combination of three reasons:

1) Alexis's physical decline
2) Ozil not there
3) Mou's setup (conversely Wenger's setup)

To me it is a combination of all three.

Alexis is not a high IQ player IMO. He is a direct player with a good engine that relies on his athleticism and speed and unfortunately for him those attributes are on a decline for him.

As for Ozil, besides Ozil understanding Alexis's game, the two had good chemistry on the pitch. That is something that is hard to replace. Some players just click with each other and plenty of times it seemed like the two were playing with each other and trying to beat the other teams.

Why is anyone sad to see the decline

f**k him. Absolute c*** and always has been. Never had the same affinity towards him as most did and I’m so glad he’s f***ing shit

This is a good thing, it shows players that it could be a mistake to move away from Arsenal which is a message that benefits us.

It's almost wankworthy actually

* Man Utd are spending £117M on Sanchez over four and a half years..... and he's crap

* Which is to the detriment of Martial and Rashford

* All because Mourinho wants success NOW NOW NOW

* Mourinho devastated. Reputation finished once and for all

....and I predict that this situation will get much worse. He'll eventually have to be dropped and then it's a very unlikely road back to form from there. He doesn't seem the type to accept a wage drop to facilitate a move, so he'll stay out the contract. This could reach Vincent Bogarde level.

Not sure why you folks are abusing Alexis like he was a freeloader here.

Like him or not, he's been our most instrumental player all these years and has scored some of the biggest goals for us during his time at Arsenal.

His last 6 months / year was unforgivable

Don’t think I’ve hated an arsenal player more in that period

^ That's as much our fault as it was his. And, we could say the same about Wenger but Wenger had enough credit in his bank.

We should have sold Alexis in the summer of 2016. It was a disastrous decision to keep him. But what Alexis did wasn't any different than what Cesc did. It's just that the Alexis incident is fresher and we're a lot older now to analyze it objectively.

I don’t hate Alexis like some of you here but it’s a real pity he left us and he got worst.
