As a fan, I wouldn't want us to lose this regardless of its impact on Wenger's tenure at Arsenal.

We're not going to "sack" Wenger either way.

Enter Arsenal......

Has it been 584 seconds since we last did it?

The last time Milan went that long without conceding a goal was in the 06/07 champions league winning season under Carlo ancelotti
It was 626 minutes
This spell then went into 785 mins conceding only 1 goal in a 1-1 draw at sampdoria
Before losing 2-0 at home to Palermo
2 results that would see us thru
We knocked Milan out the champions league the following season
We have gone 1500 seconds without conceding a goal
Last time we played Milan we scored twice 1140 seconds 1st to 2 nd goal
1020 seconds 2nd to third goal

I told everyone back at the start of the season that the Europa league would be good.

Yes its not the CL but the state we're in at the moment I'd rather we win against poor opposition and set up Quarters, semis and finals against teams like Milan, Dortmund and Athletico than be in the CL and getting smacked around.

The Europa helped Utd push on and regain prominence, lets hope we can make the best of it.

Regardless of what people think of the Europa a final against Athetico or teams like Dortmund, Napoli or AC Milan would be a glorious occasion.

Also after missing out on that CL final in Barca at least this would be a European cup we've won even if its not the big one.

It is a good chance to win this competition for the first time since 1970. (f**k UEFA historical revisionism)

Should we progress past AC Milan the weakest teams we can realistically get are Sporting who's tie is basically won or Dynamo Kiev/RB Salzburg who have and upper hand going into their second legs fixtures.

And he led the line superbly according to reports which allowed those behind him to run into spaces vacated by defenders.

Knock him all you want, but some of us see he positives.

2nd leg to go but I can't see Milan turning us over at home, these teams are no threat over 2 legs, the Europa League is ours!!

confused here... Europa is ours??

still a long ways out.... progress is good, that is to be celebrated and applauded... but people talking about it being won in the past tense ARE seriously delusional.... :naughty: :naughty:

If we win it....

Inb4 Wengerites and JCLs proclaim it as Arsenal's first major European trophy, and dismiss / belittle the CWC and Fairs Cup

The CWC was at least equal in stature to the EL
