You'd think a club that has emphasized more on finishing in CL places in the past decade or so—over every other accomplishment in Arsenal's history—would show some intent to get back into those places.

We seem to be the type to settle wherever we fall. That's top-6 now. And if we finished 8th, I can't see us upping the ante like United did.

Exactly, getting PEA was a sign of change to assemble a squad worthy of competing.

............ and lets not forget the fact PEA was supposed to replace Sanchez.

Seems we're simply not replacing Sanchez, we replaced Walcott only.

Its a fkin sham.

Buying PEA would of shut the fans up for two years at least.

If that is the case, I hope we don't get him.

Nah, buying no one player would shut up the Arsenal fans, we are on this bus until we get competitive again, that's the only way to silence the masses.

The idiot in charge has had some terrible transfer windows, but this one is shaping up to be the worst.
Alexis, Walcott, Ox and Coq gone.
Mikatarian in.
Oh dear.

Exciting like waiting to see if you're getting youre death sentence commuted to life imprisonment might be exciting.

Important, but awful regardless
