Mickey Mouse could be made to look like a great footballer on youtube so not sure what the video really proves. Agree witth the guy who said we should be buying for the 1st team not wasting money on nobodies who'll probably never play for us.

Wenger's last big defensive signing was 35 million.

For all that money, he got Mustafi :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:

They still can't see that it's not 2 million here and there which stops the board from spending

its not that though is it.

Its the effort they seem to make to get these types of deals signed nice and early when they treat getting senior 1st team players like a second priority.

No one wants to fkin hear about 20 yr old players unless their Mbappe.

Go ahead and sign them but just don't announce it unless he's first team, it just p*sses people off.

I've still not seen that German kid midfielder we've had for around 4 years and he was supposed to be a good prospect before we got hold of him.

.............. can't even remember his name now, joke.

We haven’t even announced it

Wenger even said he’s signing for us but is going on loan because he’s not at our level yet

Perfectly reasonabke

Some deluded fans at Arsenal who still toe the line and go along with whatever the club says and does.

We've seen these signings many times before, most of them gettting nowhere near the 1st team and the fact we focus so much on kids probably explains why we barely ever seem to have a list of players to sign up for the 1st team, every year it's the same and still people go along with it as if it's all fine. :rofll:

10 years of the same stuff and people still buy into it.

You’ve literally described Chelsea’s business model

They’re managing to avoid FFP through it

Exactly, there's a reason it's a big deal at Arsenal though, it's because we barely ever sign anyone so we have to announce anyone coming in to make it sound like we're actually doing anything.

Like you say noone wants these unknown nobodies, big clubs only really go for the better known ones touted to be very special, this guy is totally unknown.

Like you said the Germn guy where is he, where is that Japanese guy we signed, where is Bielik...it's always the same, we make a big thing of signing these players and they get nowhere.

No, they go and sign top class youngsters everyone is after, players who have already proven something for decent money, not unknown cheap nobodies like we do.

But then you get what you pay for as they say.

We’re likely to bring in a CB in the summer too, expecting a first team centre half in Jan is a stretch for us

There is also a thing called urgency....like our defence is shite. have a crystal ball do we and you think this why?

We're the only club who makes a big deal of these signings.

Chelsea make a ton of these.
