Having knee surgery.

Bayern upset. Were set to request that Stuttgart make his move perm in Jan for £2m before signing him for £15m in the same window / summer.

Guy could barely walk while at Arsenal. Says all you need to know about our world class training and sports science facilities.

Mavro and Saliba, surely, aren't worse than Luiz and Holding. I really like Holding but he's not a top-notch CB.

Arsenal's 23-year-old Greece international defender Konstantinos Mavropanos, who has impressed Stuttgart bosses during his loan spell, is not prepared to give up on his future with the Gunners and make his move to the Bundesliga club permanent. (Bild, via Mirror)

He won't play for us again

“He has all the hardware and all the software to be a great defender," Mislintat proclaimed in an interview with The Athletic.”

“If he can stabilise physically, he’s undoubtedly a Bundesliga-level defender. He’s one of the fastest centre-backs in the league alongside Dayot Upamecano.”

"A super guy, a model professional. You have to admire his energy, all the strength it took to get over his injuries. We’re super happy that he’s been a regular starter in recent weeks”

Needs to comeback and play alongside Luiz, we should cash in on Holding and Chambers for those overpriced English fees

Luiz, Gabriel, Saliba, Mari and Mavropanos would be a good selection for next season

Called up to the greek national team. He was also in the team of the week in the Bundesliga this week.

I hope he still has a future with us, really good defender

By all accounts, Dinos Mavropanos apparently had a bit of a standout debut performance for Greece in continuing his upward trajectory of personal development as shown in the Bundesliga.

The comments I've seen mostly seemed to centre on his level of composure, no nonsense approach and rapid pace on display.

The job isn't done yet, that much I do recognise and wish him to continue his education in a league boasting some of the best attacking talent (those not yet hoovered up by Chelsea) in the world as well as the best team in Europe, but I for one am optimistic that he will return to undergo full pre season training with the Terminator like eyes of Arteta upon him.

The rest of the squad complaining vehemently to the coach that it's unfair to have Mavropanos and Magalhaes' on the same team for training matches and 6 a-sides would be a beautiful scenario to witness.

Stuttgart are in talks with Arsenal about a new loan deal for Greece defender Konstantinos Mavropanos, 23. (Kicker - in German)

We will ruin the transfer values of Mavrepanos, Saliba and Guendozi by keeping them indefinitely on loan. They are all good players who will peak in a couple of years time. Bring the back and make them part of the rebuild process.

We extended his deal in Jul 2020.

The loan extension, if it happens, is expected to grease the wheels for a permanent deal. He's not expected to come back to Arsenal.

Signing for Stuttgart for 7M absolute joke for one of the best young defenders in the Bundesliga last season, then theirs Chelsea who’ve just sold Tomori for nearly 30M.

It’s going to be funny when Bayern buy Mavropanos in a year or so, leaving Arsenal looking stupid as usual
