lmao

What is it with our young CBs and having 'elite' strikers in their pockets? Wasn't it Holding who nullified Costa last season?

Haven't been this excited by a CB prospect since Koscielny vs Barcelona in 2010 and fact that Jose mourinho praised him shows us that he's going to be a great CB.

How many times has a youth player had a good game, been over-hyped and then ended up being average? Lets not get overexcited, we still need at least one top CB in the summer!

No one said we shouldn't sign another top CB this summer

On our books we currently have Mertesacker, Koscielny, Mustafi, Chambers, Holding, Mavropanos and Bielik so really we need to trip the herd before purchasing and send some on loan, best case scenario we bring in 2 top class ones sell Mustafi and Chambers send Maveopanos and Bielik on loan and with per retiring that would leave us with 2 x New Cbs, Kos and Holding for options.

I remember when we signed him, none of us heard of him and just watching his video I said he was better than chambers. Not because that makes him great. But they have such poor athleticism and are so slow that it was so obvious he was bigger, stronger and faster than them. That meant even if he was error prone, he would be better because they are error prone, slow and not athletic.

Not bad. Considering he's only 20 he could be something special

Early days but he looks promising. And the good thing is Wenger won’t be around much longer to hinder his development.

Holding looked out his depth last time he played. Doesn’t seem to have developed at all! I can’t recall the game, but I do recall at least 60% of his passes went to the oppo!

He's travelled with the squad to spain I'd rate Wenger even more if he drops Mustafi for him

People never learn. First it was Chambers. Then it was Iwobi. Thank f**k that dinosaur is leaving so he doesn't drive one more prospect into the ground by overplaying him.

Poor lad. Has been doing okay for himself since getting into the team.
