In fact I will list the players I can remember that were potentially good young players that became actually good players:

Vieira
Anelka
Silvinho
Toure
Clichy
Fabregas
Eboue
Ramsey
Koscielny

And thats your lot.

Thats why Arsenal fans are complaining about yet another "signing that has potential". When does this "potential" talent become "actual" talent, cos we have umpteen players in the squad with potential some of which we have been waiting a decade to become realised!!

Asked whether Mislintat had identified Mavropanos, Wenger said: “yes”.

btw chances are that wenger wont even manage mavropanos, hassenhuttl could be who the greek guy makes his first appearance for at arsenal

Not sure how to take this link. Wenger says that everyone but him has to get used to a new environment, but surely working with a DoF is commonplace and it is Wenger that does not have experience working with one - so he needs to get used to the new environment too, right?

Sounds to me like he won't be relinquishing much power.

List the same for Dortmund please. Sven's signing

Best part about it is how much barely 2 million is pissing off Wenger

I don't know enough about Dortmund to do so but I do know that they went through a very troubled time not too long ago and almost went out of business. They restructured and focused more on development of young players and we all know how that went, they became heavyweights in the game, able to compete in all competitions at the highest level.

Because they bought the right players in.

Mkhtaryan
Gotze
Lewendowski
Auba
Reus
Hummels
Pizcek
Kagawa
Bender
Rosicky

None of those players were brought into Dortmund for massive fees in relative terms

Already trying to undermine Sven, whose plan was for him to go out on loan. Doubt he's anywhere near ready at the moment. Imagine arranging a loan, and then the manager trying to keep the player even though he's not good enough to start.

"Wenger signs unknown kid and confirms we're not close to signing anyone" shocker

You gotta love this club, always keeps you guessing, you never know what's going to happen next, who would have thought we'd sign an unknown kid?
