............ and some thought he wasn't going to parade this "announcement" around.

Told you.

Wenger:
'I cannot give you any news on any transfer because we are not close to signing anybody,' he said.
'We signed a Greek boy (Mavropanos) who looks quite good in training but apart from that, we have not done anything. Will we be out there to do something? Yes we will.'

Is he fkin serious!!, he's asked about signings and he dares mention a youth player!! especially after yesterday.

Then he has the nerve to say "we signed some Greek boy" ........................

If you ask Pep about signings do you think he even utters youth players? does any team in the Prem for that matter?

I mean ffs, Wenger needs to GTFO of here, like yesterday.

I knew that giant pr*ck would start trying to hide behind this "signing" because he can't get anything done .......... or even really wants to.

It's 2018 and people still believe what Wenger says regarding transfers.

Exactly, destroying a kid's career for his arrogance. Amazing, considering a loan was set up.

I guess Wenger would instruct Sven to scout for Pacy Winger.

When Sven returns with his report, he'd say but none of them is Pacy Winger. They're Albert Gibran, Diego Gonzalez, David Smith, etc. Where is Mr Pacy Winger?

I don't get in what competition he is going to play? Maybe 1 Europa league game. A loan to a mid table Bundlesliga team was perfect.

Think he can't be loaned now because he's been named on the bench for us?

Can't play for more that two clubs in one season

If he doesn't play this has been sabotage. This c*** trying to destroy the change at the club. Fuckingbloan was set up kid must of been guaranteed minutes as bremen.

Serious in house probs.

You lot are paranoid lol.

Such a shame he's missing out on that instantaneous loan spell. That path has bred nothing but success for us in the past right? Can't see why Wenger would divert from such a successful strategy, especially after the likes of Assano.

SURELY a power play!!!!!1

Yes, wonder what's better for a young defender, playing guaranteed minutes or staying at Arsenal for no reason, since he won't start a game at all.

You say Asano, but even after leaving us, he will now have a career in the Bundesliga somewhere. Had he not loaned him out, Asano would have no career to speak of after eventually being released by Arsenal while having done nothing.

These years are developing years, and you need to be playing, not sitting on the bench. Especially as a defender. Sure, maybe neither of them are Arsenal quality (Though this guy is highly rated, and not some random weirdo), but at least you have to give them a chance of having a career, by not destroying their livelihood

I'm not saying its the right move, time will tell if hes good enough to play for us this season. Although I really can't recall any young player in recent years that's developed on loan and still plays for us. All the ones that went on loan recently have not returned.

The likes of Bellerin, Wilshire and Ramsey (while all 3 had loans) done all their critical development at Arsenal. They got games here.

If he's good enough wenger will find minutes for him. He finds minutes for iwobi ffs.

Just wish everyone would stop kicking up f**k over every little thing its infuriating.
