All top class players start off at a nominal fee.. we finally have someone at the club who can actually identify talent, so let’s give him a chance.

As far as signing top class players right now.. the faith in Wenger to be able to identify the right players makes me lol..

What dig?

Asked whether Mislintat had identified Mavropanos, Wenger said: ‘Yes. ‘We talk. We know the players. We know. It’s not that we discover, we know every single player in Europe before Sven arrived. ‘Sometimes, in a little club in Germany, he might know somebody we might ignore.’

This is a very obnoxious thing to say.

It's concerning and pretty much alludes that Wenger will be meeting them with his usual condescending attitude.

I honestly think leaving Arsenal is best for Wenger's health.

Right.. and I fear Wenger will be destructive toward any player identified by Sven or whoever else.

Sooner Wenger leaves the better.

Allegedly, this looks like a typical Wenger signing to me, the type of signing he's been making for over a decade, unknown kids, we pay a relative high price for who never come to anything.

I could not agree more to this.

Underwhelming, as usual.

How many fuking youngsters have we bought under Wenger, for the 20 odd years Wenger has been at the club that have gone on to do anything of note?? About 5 of them. Thats a poor success rate.

Thats why Arsenal fans are complaining about yet another "signing that has potential". When does this "potential" talent become "actual" talent, cos we have umpteen players in the squad with potential some of which we have been waiting a decade to become realised!!

Wenger bitter prick. You got no contacts in greece you prick. Need to run his dusty ass out of here. He's turned into f***ing Cruyff at the club. Took barca years to get rid of cruyffy poison influence. The minute they got rid of him success.

Sven and the new boys are slowing making moves. Gazidis is a polarising figure but even he wants to get rid of wenger. Can't really trust gazidis but even he sees the truth.

We got to prepare for the future and kill off wengers regime. Sven and the scouts are in the scouting game for real they live and do the analysis everyday. I trust them over wengers arrogance and outdated process. This kid if he's quality probably would of gone to Bremen and in 3/4 years cost 30 mill. This senile fool would then say I almost signed him wasn't sure he could mature. We had to wait but now he cost 30+mill we can't afford it.

Fully have trust and support in sven the new coaches and staff. Its a refresh with new hungry workers. Time to get rid of wenger.

See like 5 posts above you and Wenger crying about how Sven signed someone and being all smug about how good Wenger is and Sven is just an upstart.

Asked whether Mislintat had identified Mavropanos, Wenger said: “yes”.

The fact that he contradicts himself with his last comments let’s you know what he said was in poor taste.

His comments can be seen as good news tbh, because it hints that he possibly didn’t have much say in Sven’s appointment and possibly the other recently acquired back room members
