Arteta knows what he’s doing with Luiz exactly like conte knew when he went to Chelsea this guy excelled in back three system, it’s like having a playmaker at CB very useful against teams like City/Liverpool who press high and control the majority of possession as demonstrated in our wins against them recently.

Glad we are keeping him on for another year he’s popular in the dressing room and one of the leaders and a serial winner what’s not to like.

The penalties and red cards.

Big if true. Our best CB and yet I still want him gone.

He’s not going anywhere rated highly by Arteta for a reason proved it with those performances against pool, city and Liverpool one of the leaders on the pitch and the players love him.

Doesn’t get the respect he deserves he’s always been a game player, crazy to think that he only trained one day.

Some players are just winners no matter what. Luiz might makes mistakes, gives away penalties, gets himself sent off anytime, but he will still win a cup or two along the way.

He’s great to have in the squad

Still capable of great performances, putting that effort in after one day of training is immense

Luiz is a leader, and I’m glad we have him this year. Also, Chelsea sold him to us and still play Kurt Zouma regularly. So really, think about how bad they Fd that one up lmao.

Luiz is a liability, he proved it last season and has throughout his career, always has an error in him and when they happen they cost goals.

He has good games of course, but the lapses in concentration are costly. I personally wouldn’t want young CBS learning from him.

They just signed an older Brazillian CB.

Exactly. He is also on record as being the worst defender ever after letting in 7 goals vs Germany in 2014 World Cup with Brazil.

Yeah you are absolutely right seeing as football is not a team sport the rest of the starting XI...

Cesar, Maicon, Dante, Marcelo, Fernandinho, Gustavo, Hulk, Oscar, Bernard, Fred

Were all work class and only David Luiz played bad, If he played well the game probably would have been 1-0 win to Brazil right
